Coulson turned around and Kat was sitting on his desk, "Am I missing anything?"
Kat shook her head, "No that's all of it."
Coulson chuckled and said, "I knew I wasn't crazy. Hydra lies about everything. The news it's all fake. Take the Cambridge incident. It was a set up that girl shouldn't have been at the school in the first place"
Kat looked at the newspaper clipping, "Where we come from, she died. This never happened."
Just then a girl walked in, "Mr Coulson my homework was done I swear but then my dad made me-"
Coulson cut the girl off, "Amy we've been over this until the first bell this is my time."
Amy nodded, "Right. Okay. Jeez. Sorry."
Coulson opened the door and Amy walked out, when she had left Coulson looked at Kat, "Hydra used Cambridge to take control, in the name of law and order, to justify everything. It wasn't supposed to be like this."
Kat smiled, "I knew if anyone would understand it would be you."
Coulson sat at his desk and said, "So in the real world who am I to you?"
"Uh...hard to explain, you saved my life when I was a kid, then again when I was pregnant, brought me into SHIELD, fought for me and believed in me when no one else did, you trained me, got this ridiculous accent out of me, and looked after me so...quite a bit. Trust me in our world I don't sound Russian. But I'm glad you figured it out." Kat said
Coulson nodded, "Seems nice. I would've figured it out a bit sooner if it wasn't for the mind control soap."
"Yeah, wait what?" Kat asked
"That blue soap everyone uses. Hydra loads it with chemicals. It seeps into our bloodstream. Implants false memories into our brains. They want us to believe this is a magical place. But don't worry, I'm clear. I make my own soap now." Coulson said
