Finally, he answered my calls and texts.

Damon agreed to stay at the Armory while I drove there, and thankfully I was down the road.

Then I got a worried call from Kai.

"Is this important, my prince?" I asked softly, yet a little annoyed.

"Yes, Ric is trying to kill me in the cave under the Amory." He said hauntingly. I could hear the struggles of Damon and Ric in the background.

"Why the hell are you there? Your supposed to be at home with Caroline and Stefan!" I blurted, getting aggressive.

"Well I wanted to be apart of this whole Cade thing, you looked like you were having fun and I wanted to help." I could hear his smile through his words, I pulled into the driveway of the Armory.

"You know they are trying to kill him, right?" I asked as I parked my truck.

"Yes, I am very aware of the task at hand." His voice came from the phone and deep inside the building, I chuckled and told him I'd be right there.

...

As I walked into the cave, Damon had stepped away from a calm Ric, only to realize Ric had a knife and went at Kai. I ran in front of Kai and Damon pushed Ric back.

"Hes crazy, Damon! A full on Sociopath!" Ric yelled, I dont know what his deal was. Kai has been around this whole time and he never had any problems, I suppose they havent really talked since Kai killed Jo. "He killed my wife!" Ric yelled again.

"Fiance, as I remember." Kai said from behind me.

"Right, it was in the middle of the wedding, the 'I do' were not said." I backed him up, Ric scowled as Damon turned around to face us.

"Kai, why are you here?" Damon asked.

"Well, I want to help kill Cade." He said casually. "You know, redemption? We all need it, so why not help a brother out." He chuckled, playfully punch Damon in the shoulder. I turned my head slightly to look at him.

"Well that doesnt sound like the fun I was having." I said to him.

"But it's fun, nonetheless." He smiled a cocky smile and I turned back around.

"You want- redemption?" Damon asked, shocked.

Kai nodded and set both of his hands on my shoulders. "Yes, we both do." I scowled at his words. Damon looked at me with wide eyes, I waved my fingers at him.

"You called me, asked if you could come here because you wanted redemption?" Damon asked me.

"Believe it or not, but you arent the only person that's committed crimes." Indeed he wasnt. I've killed thousands of people in cold blood, and loved every single minute of it. I dont regret it, never have and never will. I helped the Devil himself kill people because it was fun. The last thing I wanted was redemption, but I knew this would be a perfect way to stab Damon in the back.

Ric started to get antsy as we stood there. Damon sighed and looked at Kai behind me. "What makes you think we want to help you with your hopes of redemption?"

"Well I wouldnt have asked if Heaven would pick up my calls, I think I'm on the waiting list." I couldn't help but chuckle at him, he squeezed me shoulders soothingly.

"And you have a better idea than stabbing Cade with this dagger?" Damon asked, Kai nodded.

"If you can find a way to insure me, and this beauty that stands before us, dont go to hell; I will help you kill Cade." He promised, I couldn't help but hear the lie in his voice that made me smile.
