For a brief moment, Jeongguk only heard his own heart beating loudly and his restless, rapid breathing. He felt paralyzed. He was unable to move. It seemed to him that the world was spinning around. Only after some time did he feel that he was finally regaining power over his own body. He stopped the swing completely and leaned forward to place a gentle kiss on Jae's head, then slid his fingers into his dark, wind-blown hair.

"You're going to play with your daddy for a while now, okay?" He asked gently, not wanting to scare the boy with his nervousness.

He lifted his head and looked at Tae, but he was already looking at him. The tattoo artist got up from the swing and took his son in his arms without a word. As he did so, however, his hand quickly found that of Jeongguk, squeezing it gently to let him know that whatever happens, he was with him. He stood up cautiously, as if he was not sure if his legs would not obey him. He felt his whole body literally tremble. He parted his lips to say something when suddenly he felt something bump into him. He looked down and saw a smiling face with dark, beaming eyes.

"Uncle Gguk!" Yoo shouted, cuddling against his legs. Jeongguk crouched down to her height and forced a smile. "Hi princess!" He greeted, then forced his body to pull himself up again. He moistened his now chapped lips, almost fighting the nausea. "Hi, Yerim," he choked out, his voice trembling slightly.

"Hi, Gguk," the woman greeted, smiling at him heartily. Her smile was wonderfully familiar, even refreshing. "Won't you introduce me to your friend?" She asked, looking at Taehyung. Hearing her words, the tattoo artist quickly extended his hand towards her. Jeongguk's lips parted, not sure if he would be able to utter any words. Fortunately, however, these slowly rolled from his mouth.

"Yerim, this is Taehyung," he said laconically. "Tae, this is Yerim, my brother's wife," he explained.

Yerim smiled even wider, then let the man's tattooed fingers tighten around her manicured hand.

"Oh! It's nice to finally meet you in person. My daughter is madly in love with you," she said, then laughed carelessly as if she had just not noticed two men kissing.

Taehyung laughed as he ran his fingers through his fiery red hair. He was also a bit tense, but still looked phenomenal. The caramel skin almost shone in the afternoon sun, and black tattoos snaked around the strong, exposed forearms that still embraced his son.

"Yoo is a really lovely girl," he confirmed.

"And that little handsome guy? Who is that?" Yerim asked, holding her hand toward Jae.

"Hi, I'm Yeri," she introduced herself.

"I'm Jae," the toddler replied, offering her his hand.

"This is your baby boy? He is such a cute little boy. How old is he?"

"He's four."

"He's really cute. I just picked up Yoo from ballet and we were gonna go get ice cream. Yoo said uncle Gguk was taking her here and we absolutely must come here. Apparently, nowhere else is there as good ice cream as here," she explained with a gentle laugh. "Of course, she had to visit the playground on the way."
