Seokjin stood paralyzed for a long moment

Seokjin stood paralyzed for a long moment. He couldn't move. He stared blankly at the slammed office door where his younger brother had disappeared moments ago. He felt the words Jeongguk shouted before he left echoing loudly off the walls of an empty office like church bells that still hovered long after they stopped moving.

"If you want, turn on that damn flash drive and watch that recording. Look what your little brother was really doing that night."

Jin raised his hand and ran it through his smoothly combed hair as if to make sure every strand was in place. He exhaled the air he had been holding back from his lungs and turned on his heel to slowly walk towards the desk. He sat down carefully in the leather chair that belonged to his brother and looked at the computer monitor, which was still lit up. He stared at the file he was about to display before Jeongguk stopped him with his confession and stared at the blinking cursor.

"He fucked me. [...] You don't believe me, then play this damn video. See what a faggot your little brother is."

He reached out and placed it carefully on the wireless mouse, wondering if he should turn on the recording.

Jeongguk tried to stop him, but was he telling the truth? After all, his brother wasn't like that. He dated women all his life. It never even occurred to him that he might be attracted to men. Besides, he had Lisa. He loved her. They were going to get married soon and create a family like him and Yerim. Or was what his brother said a lie? Perhaps it was just a smokescreen to hide what the red haired man really did. His brother had been lying to him for so long. Maybe he was lying this time too to protect this tattooed guy?

He stared at the blinking cursor, trying to somehow organize his thoughts, but the image in front of his eyes was starting to blur, and the chaos in his head seemed to only intensify with each passing moment. He moistened his lips as his nervousness rose, then took a deep breath and, without further analyzing what he should do, pressed the Play button.

He didn't even know how long, he just stared blankly at the picture of his father's office. He knew that the video contained a record of the events of the whole day and what really interested him happened in the middle of the night, so he should fast-forward it, but he couldn't bring himself to do so, as if subconsciously he felt that what he would see will change the way he viewed his little brother forever.

What will he do if he sees that Jeongguk really helped this man rob his own family? How would he tell their father about it?

He finally forced himself to rewind the video and played it again, only when he saw the office door open on the screen. The camera was placed on one of the shelves, so you could see almost the entire interior. Jeongguk opened the door and let the red haired man enter the office. The stranger stopped in the middle and looked around for a moment. Was he looking for something?

Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows together as he studied him. He was pretty sure the man was about to start searching their father's office, but nothing like that happened. The stranger turned to Jeongguk and began to speak to him. These recordings, too, had no sound, and the image was too indistinct for him to even try to read his lips, so he looked at his brother. The boy looked strangely tense, but after a short conversation with the redhead, it seemed that the tension in his body was slowly fading away, as if what the man had told him had somehow magically soothed his nerves.
