Y/N POV
"Thanks for having me Y/N!" " always a pleasure with you Niki" "Aw, thank you Y/N"
I closed the door and went to get some f/s(favourite snack) to eat before sitting down on my sofa with it. I placed it on the table and noticed Niki's comm that she must've left behind. I didn't want to go outside as it was raining but I sucked it up and put me and Niki's comms in a bag and put on my raincoat with an umbrella in hand. I walked outside and started walking through the smp, it was raining pretty hard so Niki would either be running home or would've taken shelter, there's shelter by the prime path and that would've been in the direction she went so I went that way. Not surprisingly I found Niki under a few trees and walked up to her
"Hey Niki" "Oh, hey Y/N" "It seems you forgot something... multiple things actually" "Yea, an umbrella" "And something else"
She searched around her pockets and noticed her Comm wasn't there
"Ah, the comm. I'm assuming you have it?" "Yea, we should go inside first, where to?" "Can we go to the bakery?" "Yea, you take the umbrella" "Thank you"

Once we got to the bakery we put on the fire and put our umbrella and coat away
"Do you wanna make some cookies?" "Sure"
Niki grabbed the ingredients and placed them on a counter, I got a few bowls and washed my hands, Niki joining after double-checking all the ingredients were the correct ones.
"So, we need the butter and sugar" "Did you prepare the oven and the trays?" " Oh! I'll do that now if you wanna sort out the butter and stuff"
I nodded and mixed the sugar and butter into one of the many bowls we had and checked the book to see what to do next
"1 egg and a tea spoon of vanilla extract" " Oh, thanks Niki! You clearly make this recipe often" "Yea, it's one of our best selling recipes" "Hmm, fair"
I measured the extract and added it, I got a cup and broke the egg in it and made sure there was no shell before putting into the bowl

I threw a handful of flour at Niki, most of it landing in her hair, it stuck there as her hair was still wet
"So you want to play?" " W-What? "
She grabbed her own handful and threw it at my sweater and my face, I blocked it with my arms and my gloves for covered in flour. Quite a bit landed on the floor though. We were laughing as we ran around the bakery throwing around flour
"Okay, okay. I give up, you win, now let's clean up and finish the cookies" "Haha, Niki reigns victorious!" " Haha"
After we finished making the cookies we cleaned all around the bakery, and I prepared to leave but as I opened the door I noticed it was dark outside
"You can stay here, I've got spare rooms upstairs" "Thanks Niki" "Anything for one of my best friends" " aw thanks Niki, that means a lot to me"
