Y/N POV

I was in the middle of the L'manberg war, the second one technically but honestly there is a time and a place for names of wars and this isn't it. This war was reckless and unprepared on L'manberg's part, we all just stormed Technoblade and expected to make progress. I mean once we died we stormed in again with nothing to defend ourselves. I liked Phil and Techno don't get me wrong but honestly I was just here to protect Ranboo and even then I'm not doing the best job. He wasn't even competing in the war and I was over here trying to kill the blade, like that would actually work. I'm not at all skilled in combat, I didn't even have time to fucking sharpen my swords.

I ran up toward Techno, Sapnap beside me killing the dogs that were attacking him and others... I had to stop and think, was this worth it? We're just being stupid if we think this will ever do anything. The more I thought about it the more I realised, I was only here for Ranboo. No one else. I looked around to see Phil making withers, Dream setting up explosions on top of the obsidian structure, and last of all, Technoblade. He was laughing, probably enjoying the fact that there is literally no way to fucking loose. I stopped for a minute before turning around to Tommy, who was running toward Techno with no armour from already being killed, and stabbed him in the chest, blood covering the fur on my cape. He looked betrayed and shocked, everyone around who noticed reacted the same, mainly Tubbo and Phil. Phil seemed surprised but as Tommy disappeared he nodded toward me slightly, me giving a nod back before running up to sapnap, struggling for a minute or two before defeating him too. I noticed techno up ahead, he looked just as surprised as Phil but he was smiling. I ran and ducked under a few people, weapons and shields. Eventually getting to Techno, pulling out my own shield, blocking a blow from someone I didn't bother taking notice of

"Ha! So your switching sides mid-battle?"
" was only here for Ranboo to be honest"
"Aw, you didn't want to defeat me?"
" fuck no, I don't think I'd have the guts mate"
"Haha, Watch out!"

Techno blocked the attack on me by jumping in front of me with his own shied

"Thanks man"
"Just watch out next time, I don't wanna risk my life for yours"
"RUDE!"
" I was joking! "
"Dumbass"

I ran away from him, headed toward withers after seeing Ranboo being chased by them. I hit them once or twice, distracting them before leading them to other people, Ranboo smiled at me before he saw my outfit. It was covered in blood from practically everyone, even dogs. I gave him a look to apologise before running back to the main war zone, most people giving up by this point

"You alright blade?"
" Yea, are you alright? You've got a gash on your arm, looks pretty deep"
"I'll be alright"
"If your sure, go to Phil if it gets worse"
"Will do"

And here I am. A few months later with a still healing wound from that very fight, a fight I'll never quite regret but I'll never quite get over either. I lived in Techno's house as a roommate, having him gone was defiantly an odd experience

"Y/N, new syndicate meeting today, you gonna come?"
"Yea, give me a few minutes to get changed"
"Alright, I'll be outside with Ranboo waiting unless you want is to go on ahead?"
" Stay"
"Alright, see you in a minute mate"
"Yea"

I got upstairs and sighed, I looked in the mirror noticing that I looked like a mess. I'd hardly slept since the war but I could still cope with Techno around, but with him gone. I've hardly slept at all. I washed my face and went outside, Ranboo and Phil outside like they said, we started walking toward the syndicate meeting together

"So plans on breaking Techno out of prison?"

Sorry for not uploading in two weeks, I've been having a shit time with emotions and coping, my friend has been helping me but don't expect casual updates for a while. There might be a few more chapters out tonight but I'm not sure. But as always have a good day/evening/night guys!
