Wilbur pov

I quietly walked down the steps to the basement, Tommy behind me stepping carefully

I saw Y/n and smiled at them, them returning a weak one back

"Dad's gone to bed, your not hurt right?"
"No I'm fine, you guys should leave"
"No way! We promised we'd take you to see the stars on the roof tonight!"
"I don't want him to find you again-"

Y/n paused, hearing the door creak open, someone walking down, me looking at them confused before smiling, Y/n still confused as they sat facing away from the door

"don't want who to find you again?"
"Oh thank god it's you Techno!"
"Haha! So dad's been shit again?"
"Yep."
"Well I'll help you sneak out, you know he loves me"
"Ugh don't remind me, dad makes sure we all know"
"I know he does"

We all started climbing the stairs up from the basement, going up one more flight to get to my room. Once we got there I opened the window, Y/n looking nervous.

"Hey it'll be fine guys I mean C'mon, we have me, what could go wrong?"
"Oh my god- shut up techno!"

I started to climb out the window, hopping onto one lower down, climbing up that ones wall to reach a flat roof, blankets and pillows set up, sitting down I looked back at Tommy, Techno and Y/n

"C'mon we're wasting the night away!"

Y/n pov

I peeked out the window, re-lacing my boots before putting one foot on the sill, my hands secured on the frame

"Y/n don't overthink it, just do it or back out. Tommy can go first and I'll help you"
"Okay..."

I backed up and watched Tommy climb out the window, holding onto the outer sill before letting go, him landing on his legs, knees bent. He walked over to the wall and jumped, Wilbur pulling him up

"Alright, it's our turn Y/n, you ready?"
"Sure..."

He climbed out and just jumped, not bothering to hang off the edge like Tommy did because he was taller. I climbed out the window and paused, Techno noticing and putting his hands out

"C'mon, I'll catch you!"

I jumped down and he caught me, me panicking before being placed down next to Wilbur

"See it wasn't so bad"
"Can it Wilbur, you do this daily!"
"And you climb up the wall border, it surprises me that your the one afraid"
"That's different, I don't trust this place"
"Why do you trust the border then?"
"Because no one goes there and it was built to stop the violence getting in?"
"He's got you there Wilby"
"...yeah, they have... and it's they/them Techno"
"Oh damn, it changed?"
"You didn't know?"
"Y/n, I've been gone for almost a year now"
"Oh, I thought it'd been a lot less..."
"Haha... dumbass"

"So which one's that?"
"Oh! That's Orion right?"

"But they're close to Orion and that's probably why your confused"

Nice to say tommy lost, money for me. I watched Tommy run off, a smile on his face even though he lost

"Man I'm tired"

Wilbur sprawled out over me and Techno and we both tried getting away, him trapping us in a hug before we could escape. Both of us laughing before returning to the hug, relaxing as we looked at the moon, a shooting star passing

"ME- I SAW IT FIRST!"
"NO I DID, FUCK OFF YOU WANKER!"
"Actually I think I saw it first-"
"SHUT UP TECHNO!"
"SHUT UP TECHNO!"

We'd all left the hug by now, us arguing about who got the wish, Tommy coming out

"Dad's gonna hear you"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"That's what I thought, plus I saw it through the window-"
"NO YOU DIDN'T YOU LITTLE SHIT-"
"I'M GOING TO FUCKING STAB YOU IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP-"
"FUCK YOU!"

After defusing the argument Tommy walked back over with the food, too busy arguing to focus on his footwork while coming over. He managed to trip on the blanket and drop the food, I went to go grab it and saved some in my hands and some with my foot, loosing balance quickly

I started to fall over the edge, Wilbur, Tommy and Techno catching me, I looked up and smiled at them before sitting back down far from the edge

~ Morning After ~

Phil pov

I walked into wil's room to get him up for his reading, pausing to see his window open

"He didn't sleep out there again did he?"

I looked out the window to see a pile of limbs, Techno on the bottom with Y/n and Wilbur either side, Tommy sprawled out over the top of them all

I laughed as I flew out the window, seeing XD near them I hurried but he seemed... passive

"I've made a realisation today Philza."
"What was that XD?"
"That they're kids, they'll learn when the times right, no need to be so strict, me included"
"Yeah, I think your right"
"Maybe we could put aside our differences, we've worked together before but I feel this could be a new chapter, give Dream and Y/n a chance perhaps..."
"Hmm, Y'know I think your right XD"
"Shall we go plan?"
"Of course we should"
