It was a warm day in Manberg, today just wasn't a nice day to perform in the burning sun, but what can you do? Schlatt wanted some form of music and came to ask for my advice and walked in on me, Fundy, Niki, Karl and Wilbur, well Wilbur hid in a closet just in time but once Schlatt saw us he practically forced us to perform tonight... Not that we didn't want to, we just wanted our own performance when we were ready.
"So Y/N, I was thinking... You want me to replace Wilbur as guitarist tonight right?"
" Yea, the whole performance would be shut down if Wilbur were here and I don't want to ruin it for everyone, plus Wilbur's busy today"
"With what?"
" y'know, same old Wilbur"
"Actually I just don't know"
"True, sometimes I wonder why you actually stick with this band, you don't genuinely hang out with most of us"
"Yea, but I know you guys have got talent and your all pretty funny"
"Funny, but sadly not Chaotic enough for you... Our fatal flaw"
"You say that then you act all weird"
"Y/N... Schlatt wants to talk with you"
"Thanks Niki, set up your guitar I'll tell you where to put it when I get back okay?"
" Yea, bye Y/N"
I walked toward the podium and saw Schlatt discussing with Quackity before waving toward me, calling me up
"So what'd you want?"
" we were wondering what you were playing tonight"
"We were gonna play 'until it doesn't hurt' "
" Hmm, lyrics? "
I passed him the lyrics sheet, preparing for a song change as the lyrics had... Let's just say mild arson was mentioned
"Where'd you get these lyrics?"
" I'm friends with arsonists... What the fuck did you think my songs would be about? "
"So you write the lyrics?"
" I wrote this piece yea"
"Any others, we don't really want... Well this, it might encourage some shitty behaviour"
" what a dumb fucking excuse"
"What was that?"
Quackity put his sword to my throat, drawing a little blood as a warning to not push my luck, which I just returned with a smile, it was funny the way his face changed from cocky to anger
"Put the sword down"
"But Schla-"
"ENOUGH! what other song do you have?"
" Beggin'"
"Lyrics?"
He read them pretty quickly and gave it back approvingly. I ran off as we didn't have much time and we had a completely new song
"GUYS, SCHLATT HAD A REWRITE"
"what song? "
"Beggin'. Karl, bass, Niki, electric, Fundy can you play the drums for this song?"
I gave him the sheet and he started practising with Karl and Niki tuning in to help him
"Give me a few minutes, I'll get it"
"Don't sweat Fundy, if you can't get it simplify it"
"So what are you doing Y/N?"
" I was gonna play the drums and let Niki sing but the piano isn't in this song so Fundy would've had nothing to do"
"So your just singing?"
" if that's alright with you guys? "
"Yea, just use the stand for the mic"
"Yep, so practice time?"
" yea"
"Fundy count us in"

We practiced for a bit until everyone came around to pokimane island to dance with pre-recorded music, Schlatt then took the Mic provided and got everyone's attention
"So as you may know, we have some talented people in this nation, so they came together and formed a band called Deathly Roses and tonight they will be performing a song from they're newest album beggin', enjoy the show, because I sure know I will"
We all grabbed our instruments and I held my Mic and Fundy started to count us in and I started singing
"Put your loving hand out baby~ cuz I'm beggin'"
