We were sat under our favourite place in Kinoko, the apple tree, me hugging Karl and tracing circled on his face, trying to calm him down

"Why'd you yell at Quackity?"
"Because he's a murderer."
"Hunny, you need to stop time travelling, it's messing with your mind"
"My mind? This is all a dream dumbass, it always is with you, so just- WAKE UP!!"

"HOLY SHIT"

Quackity came running in panicked

"What's wrong?"
"Nothing... it happened again"
"Really?"

He sat down on my bed, crossing his legs as he lent on the pillows

"But Quackity... I'm scared about this one"
"Why?"
"Karl wasn't- well he just wasn't Karl, like he couldn't control himself... like a puppet"
"Well how so?"
"He was emotionless, I couldn't control myself in this one either"

I'd had dreams like this before, every night actually but I was actually able to speak to Karl with my free will, him speaking back... this was just weird and I've only had something like this once before

"Like the last one?"
"You sound worried"
"I am, the last one you had was in pogtopia times, you knew Tubbo was going to die and that Wilbur would go mad months before it happened, before all the warning signs!"
"Yea..."
"What was this one?"
"He called you a murderer, he'd yelled at you apparently, I couldn't tell apart anything else"
"Great, just more on my plate"
"Maybe... maybe go talk to slime, he always makes you feel better, and don't worry, if you do I'll get slime to make you not worry."
"I don't know if that was a threat or reassurance"
"Me either, just go I need to go see Sap anyway"
"Yea, well bye Y/n!"
"Bye mate"

I was sat under the apple tree in Kinoko again, thinking out loud to myself

"What if- what if when I talk to him it's not a dream? I mean it always feels so real, and he always holds his tongue when I ask him about it-"
"What you talking about over here... all by yourself?"
"Oh.. Hey Sap! I was just thinking about Karl"
"Hm, what about him, its been months since we last saw him. You miss him or?"
"I keep having dreams of Karl every night, Y'know the L'manberg one I had?"
"Yea, what about it?"
"Well I can usually control myself in dreams and Karl seems well... real"
"Continue."
"But I had one last night and I don't think Karl's okay"
"Why not?"
"Well... nevermind, he wouldn't want you to know"
"Wouldn't want me to know what? You can't just do that!"
"He um... Sap I can't"
"You need to tell me!"
"Karl's a time traveller... I think that's why he's been gone."
"Great joke!"
"Not a joke."
"OK... wait really!?"
"Yea..."
"I wanna see Karl again, can I join you somehow!?"
"I'm not sure, maybe?"
"Let's do it! Where do you live now anyway?"
"Las Nevadas"
"Oh, that new place?"
"Yea the one Quackity made for us!"
"Yea... um will he be alright with me being there?"
"Of course, he really misses you guys... just be careful okay?"
"Why?"
"The Dream... Karl got pissed at Quackity, I don't want you to get in his face... he's been struggling Y'know?"
"Who hasn't at this point?"
"George, he's just sleeping it all away, I wish I could do that"
"Sounds like you have!"
"I don't sleep through elections now do I?"
"You really gonna bring that one up?"
"Still an open wound?... sorry I just-"
"No it's alright, just wasn't expecting it is all"
"Yea... Um anyway , you seen the new person he's been hanging round with?"
"No?"
"Looks a lot like Dream but like an XD instead of a smile on his mask"
"Hmm, no I haven't, sounds... weird knowing that it wouldn't actully be Dream"
"Yea, any other life updates I should know about?"
"Nah let's head to Las Nevadas"

"I love the bed"

Sapnap ran and jumped onto the bed, groaning in a relaxed way as I looked st him weird

"What?"
"Don't make that noise on my bed."
"Why not?"
"It's weird."
"Whatever... hey what time is it?"
"Like half ten, why?"
"Bed time?"
"Yea do you wanna get changed or?"
"Nah I'm good"

I walked over to the bed and lied under the blankets, nestled above quite a few pillows, Sapnap joining a few seconds later, looking at me

"So how are we gonna do this?"
"Hug?"
"...Sure."

He wrapped his arms around my back and pulled me forward, my face in his chest

"God I'm tired"
"Same"

He lied his head on mine and we soon slipped out of pure comfort and warmth but then...

Screaming.
That's all I heard.
What I saw?
Darkness.
I felt Sapnap's hand grabbing me, it hurt so bad...
Was I the one screaming?
No, I don't sound like that
I can't open my eyes
I feel like I'm drowning
This never happened before...
I can't breath
Is Sapnap feeling this?

"Hey again Y/n... Oh Sapnap!"
"Hey dude... WAIT KARL!? ITS BEEN SO LONG!"
"How'd you get here?"
"I could ask you the same thing"
"Me and Y/n slept with each other"
"... Sapnap. That sounds so wrong."
"I mean I'm not lying"
"Sounds like you had fun"
"Karl, we need to talk."
"About what?"
"We figured it out and we're getting you out."
"Yea!"

We sat for a few hours until I felt the simular feeling of slipping back into reality again. I quickly grabbed Karl and Sapnap's hand and pulled them with me as I went back through

The same thing again but much, much worse happened, the trip was horrific and I started coughing up blood...

"Y/N, WE DID IT!"
"really?"

Sapnap and Karl were hugging so tight that I highly doubted that they could breath and I was sat, drenched in sea water with blood that was much more watery, noticing that it was probably from the blood I coughed up. While they were hugging I actually noticed something... his eyes, they weren't the same as before...
