Paris/Huntress's POV

Walking down the stairs, the scene reminds me of what she left behind in China the last time we had tracked her down. A cell at the end of the hall blood paints the wall in the language we created as kids. Translated it means John betrayed us, KILL HIM. Instantly, Jasmine and I both turn to John with blazing rage radiating from our bodies.

Not again! She can't handle this again. Fuck! We're never going to be able to help her now.

Yelling in unison, Jasmine and I question, "What have you done?!"

John plays with his foot nervously replying, "So I convinced G to save the headmaster of your old school to use as torture tester and he might have escaped and I never told G about it."

"How long?" We growl together while picking up weapons and pointin.g them in the direction of a shadow moving above u8s on the staircase.

"Over a year." John whimpers.

My need to avenge G blooms and I scream "I'll kill you!" at the same time as Jasmine.

This fuck. ing bastard! He has no fucking idea what this is going to do to G. G will never be able to trust again, not even me and Jasmine.

The shadow above us yells out, "Please don't kill him."

"And why shouldn't we?" We reply unfazed at the shadows words.

"Well, isn't it obvious, he's bait for the Ghost. I need her to come back." He calls out of the darkness.

Wait, this idiot honestly thinks that she'll come back for the fucking betrayer. That is fucking hilarious. There's no damn way I'm letting this man leave this dungeon/warehouse alive. Jazz and I start laughing hysterically at him, so he steps into the light with a passive face. Jazz moves closer to him raising her weapon, while I growl in a dark tone, "We're searching for her to help her and we can't even get her to come back. The Ghost doesn't even care about coming to get him anyways, she knew he would be as good as dead the moment we found out about this anyway so you're shit out of luck."

Jace glances between us worriedly asking, "Huntress what's going on?" Perfect, he remembered to use our code names.

I watch realization dawn on his face after hearing my name, "Ahhh so you're the Ghost's 'friends'" he mocks us with air quotes. "I mean I can understand wanting to stick with her at school, but she's left you. You don't have to fake caring about her anymore."

Pain flashes through my face initially, but rage quickly takes its place. Making Jasmine scream "You don't know her! You have no idea what she's put herself through just to protect the rest of us."

"What's she doing to herself for us." I mutter, echoing off the bloody walls. Sadness envelopes me, but my focus remains on the man in front of me. He seems to know something he's not telling us. Scrutinizing his face, I notice when the light in his eyes becomes a touch brighter and true fear dawns on him. So he knows who she is then, and he's met her. "Where is she then... You know don't you?" I question him.

He stares at me seriously, "I'm not sure how to ask this, but... does she also go by the name Rogue?"

Keeping a blank face, I think for a moment. So she did end up creating a second personality then. Trust her to remember the name I really wanted as kids. I wanted to be the Rogue for how unconventional I am, but got stuck with Huntress when the blood accidentally made an H when it spilled. Now there are 'two' people supposedly working together to protect us.

Fed up with G's antics I throw my hands in the air and start pacing. "This fucking bitch literally had to run away. God dammit! Sweetheart Killer you grab Mr. Mysterious over there and I'll get John. We all need to have a nice long chat."
