Tyler’s POV

She better be out soon. God I hope she's out soon.

I pace back and forth in front of the prison. It's only been a week since the fashion massacre as the news is calling it, but I miss her. A buzzing noise comes from above the exit warning everyone that someone is leaving the building whether allowed or not. The surrounding guards all adjust their stance to be ready for an escapee but there she is, Galaxy. A huge grin plasters my face as I can't help the happiness I feel at getting to see her.

I run up to her and pick her up in a huge hug.

"Ok, ok. I'm happy to see you too, but put me down." She laughs. "It was only a week and you visited everyday. What's with the excitement?"

Now I'm embarrassed, "Well, I… I guess spending almost all day everyday with you made me selfish. I want to be with you as much as you’ll let me.”

Her smile doesn’t dim and I find myself entranced in it until she speaks again, “Thank you, but I’m anxious for some fresh clothes and a nice long shower. Let’s go home.”

“Home. What a weird concept. A place that feels safe and where your family is. I guess with him gone it actually does fit that now.” I whisper, but Galaxy hears.

“Right... I didn’t think that I would ever find a real home, but thanks to you I did. So… Thank you Tyler.” She blushes and kisses me quickly on the lips before rushing to my car.

On the ride home, she stays glued to the door trying to ignore me as the blush stays on her cheeks. I think it’s cute, but she seems to be more and more embarrassed as time goes on. Finally, I can’t handle her being so embarrassed and I put my hand on her knee. “You don’t have to be embarrassed, love. It’s not like you proposed or anything.”

Galaxy’s cheeks become redder as the idea plants itself in her head, but she protests almost angrily. “Where in the hell did that even come from! Of course I didn’t propose!”

I smirk at her, knowing exactly what I’m going to do when we arrive home.

… It’s time. She gets out of the car in a rush, but I follow her quickly and grab her waist to give her a hug and a peck on the lips. “Love, what’s the rush?”

“I just want to jump in the shower. Stop hugging me! I smell like a corpse!” she whines as I hold her in place.

“I don’t smell a thing.” I tease her.

She rolls her eyes, but she breaks my hold on her and walks into the house. “Just let me shower then we can talk!” she calls behind her, but as she turns her head to see the entrance she freezes.

The entire front room is covered in lights that twinkle and flowers petals are scattered around. In big letters the words Marry Me? in blue petals.

I walk in front of her, “Galaxy, you have done so much for me. You saw the potential in me and made me your assistant. You trusted me to tell me about your life. You allowed me to live after I expressed my intense hatred of your other name. You trusted me enough to live with your family. You gave me your love. You gave me a home. Now I hope you’ll allow me to make a home with you. To return your love tenfold. To be the man that you believe I can be. Galaxy, will you allow me to be your husband?” Kneeling down in front of her I pull out a ring. It’s simple, but elegant and reflects her dangerous and caring sides.

Her lip trembles as tears well-up in her eyes, but she blinks them away with a shake of her head. My own head falls down in sadness. She couldn’t even voice it, but she said no.
