Did I leave abruptly?

That's it, the dilemma and emotions mixed  with being with someone that isn't yours.

You want to hold them a little longer, you want to savour the moment, you can't look them in the eyes because you you're afraid you'll fall in love, because you know you'll fall in love with them, you know you will, so you avoid their eyes, you don't stare because those eyes suck you in.

You're stuck in a crossroad, should I care, should I not, should I ask, should I talk. We're not something, or are we, my heart's breaking, and big girls cry when their hearts are breaking.

You're breaking me by not being with me, by staring at me with those love filled eyes, by touching me like that, by carving your existence in my bones, by whispering unspoken love to my ears, by kissing me with such aesthetics, by reaching the deepest part of me just by a forehead kiss.

You're breaking my heart, my love, by not being my love, you're breaking my heart by not being with me, by not taking the leap, so here I am, writing in a dimmed room, on a rainy night, with Maisie Peter's Worst Of You playing in the background.

Here I am, writing with a breaking heart.
