A 6 year old buck ran through a forest she stopped looking down at a river. She looked up as it started to rain.
She looked down at the river sniffing before noticing something move under the water.
She gasped, backing away as the humanoid came out of the river.
Buck looked at the humanoid a little scared.
The humanoid looked at buck her face turn to a worried look "are you lost kid?" she asked, waking over.
Buck back up "pls don't hurt me" she said horrified.
"It's okay kid i won't hurt you" she said getting down on buck lavel "where are your parents?"
"At home" she answered
"Then why are you here?" the humanoid asks .
"They're fighting," she said, looking at the ground.
The humanoid frowned "come on let's get you out of the rain" the humanoid said holding her hand waking her to a small cave.
Buck sat down on the floor, the humanoid sitting next to her.
"Ma'am," Buck said, looking at the humanoid.
"¿Yes kid?"
"Is it normal for parents to yell at their kids?" she ask
The humanoid frown "unless if your doing something bad no it's not"
Buck look away "my father always says that I'm a failure"

"Don't be sorry," thé humanoid said, hugging her. "My name is river. What's your's ? "

Buck smiled "thank you" she said smiling.
4 months later

Buck turn arun seeing her father
"I was talking to myself numita, '' she said looking away.
Numita rolled his eyes grading her arm walking back to their house.
River pips her head out of the river glaring at numita.
'I Will drown that man one day no one gets away with hurting kids well i'm arun. She thought going back into the river.
That night

River piped her head out of the river seeing buck there.
"What's wrong Amilia ? " she ask
"My dad again," she said, sitting down and hugging herself.
River got out of the river hugging her "it's okay" she said rubbing her back.

River looked up seeing numita looking furious at what was happening.
River looks at him angry, letting buck go from the hug.
Before she could say anything she felt herself get pushed into the river.
She swam up seeing numita takeaway buck she glared at him going back into the river.
