Y/n looks after Rose behind the scenes for the day for Scarlett since she's got caught up in work.
Scarlett POV:
God I feel like the worst parent ever. I mean what kind of mother gets caught up at work when she needs to look after her kid. Luckily enough for me today y/n has the day off and kindly offered to take care of Rose behind the scenes for the day so that I don't need to worry about her. A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I thanked her thoroughly, she waved it off like it was nothing. Typical y/n, too kind for her own good. Not that it was a bad thing.
I catch a glimpse of them from the corner of my eye as I'm in the hair and make-up chair getting a touch up in-between scenes. My heart swells at the sight.
Y/n had Rose in her arms and was tickling the life out of her, my daughter squealing and giggling at the feeling, attempting to wriggle away in the cutest way.
"You're staring at her, you know?" Elizabeth informs me from beside me.
"What a mother can't worry about her daughter every now and then?" I defend myself.
"I'm not talking about Rose" she smirks and I catch onto what she's implying. I shake my head and ignore the comment.
"Deny it all you want Scar, we both know it's true" she teases and turns round herself to watch them.
"She's a good one, I must admit" she tells me and I roll my eyes playfully.
"So what if I did? She'd never feel the same way" I shake it off and Elizabeth chuckles to herself.
"You're blind Scarlett. That girl loves you the same way you love her" she says and I look back over at y/n who now had Rose on her shoulders walking over to say hello to Chris.
"How do you know?" I ask slowly, not wanting to look desperate for the same form of affection.
"I see the way she looks at you. It's like you're everything she needs and more. She can't help it, she does it all the time when we're filming scenes, you're just too caught up to realise" she reveals and I gasp slightly at the newly found information.
"And on top of that, she loves your kid too, so you don't need to be afraid that she won't want to be with you because you have a child" she points over to them and I smile, blushing as I look away.
