I talked with Johnny for some moments, and then he fell asleep while holding me sloppily. I admired him, watching him sleep and relax at last; however, my head continued to wonder what'll happen next. Johnny isn't wrong about what he said, both of us hold a strong resentment for each other, and I believe that's what pulls us together. There are many reasons why we shouldn't trust each other, but we don't follow the logical order, the "right" lines. It's what makes us different, and even though we try to push each other away, it's almost impossible to achieve that objective forever.
After talking with Ten, I honestly thought about visiting Johnny. I already knew the result if I came; therefore, it isn't shocking how everything concluded. Yet, this time, I felt how Johnny hoped for a new beginning. It scared me at first, knowing how he wanted something else, somewhere unknown. Fortunately, I convinced him to stay here, where our memories live and the place we call home after so many ups and downs. And regardless of my position in this country and city, I want to give Johnny what he desires, an honest and regular relationship. Hopefully, giving him the attention he needs will help me keep his head away from making sudden changes without me.
Currently, the soft light from the window is reaching the side of my face. Immediately, it made me blink a few times as I tried to open my eyes slowly. There's when I noticed Johnny's arms are still around me, causing a smile to appear on my face while getting covered by his embrace. Johnny shrugged before leaning forward, letting me rest against his chest as I continued to stay calm by his touch.
-Morning. – I heard Johnny speak as I took a deep breath.
-Hey, how are you feeling? – I asked while looking up at Johnny.
-A regular headache, but nothing else. – Johnny assured me while releasing a subtle smile. Then, he strokes his hair back while closing his eyes, and for some reason, my eyes glued on Johnny's figure. It felt like time stopped for me; however, Johnny instantly noticed my stares on him. -What is it? – Johnny asked, glancing my way with a soft smile on his face.
-Can you skip work today? – I suddenly asked, causing Johnny to frown in confusion.
-Why? Don't you have tasks to attend to today? – Johnny questioned.
-Yes, but I want to be with you. – I admitted, becoming somewhat embarrassed.
Control yourself, Jaehyun! You aren't acting like yourself.
Johnny snickered before caressing my cheek while staring at me. -I have the meeting that I mentioned last night, remember? – Johnny pointed out, which I nodded for in response, recalling what Johnny said. -But when I get out of it, I still need to work on a new project. – Johnny mentioned.
