First step towards revolution

Next day Bondita went to market alone to buy some groceries. A girl near 11 year was running and bumped with bondita. she was crying.

Bondita : kiya hua baccha aap ro kiyu rahe ho? or apko chot kaisi lagi?

Bondita got out a rumal from her bag and wrapped on her knees which was hurt.

Girl : didi woh log mujhe apne sath lejayenge.  mujhe bachalo.

Bondita : kon le jaraha hain? tumhe baccha? or maa baba kaha hain tumhare?

Girl : unlogo ne unhe bandi bana liya or mujhe unke sath lejana chahte hain?

Bondita : kon? ro maat batao kiya hua?

Girl hide behind bondita helding her tightly.

Girl : woh dekhiye yehi hain woh log.

Few mens were coming towards them and saw the child. They looked towards them from head to toe.

men 1 : a ladki ush bacchi ko humare sath jane de?

Bondita : khabardar. main isko nehi lejane dungi.

Men 2 : kaise nehi lejane degi. kon lagti hain tu uski?

Bondita : tum log kon ho? or ish bacchi ke piche kiyu pade ho?

Men 3 : jaan nah hain? kiyu pade hain? ek kam kar tu bhi humare sath chaal.

They were coming towards bondita.

Bondita : khabardar jo humare pass aye.

Bondita about to kick them but two mens from behind held her hand and one man held the girl. the little girl was sivering in fear.

Bondita : chodo mujhe.....

Mens : aise kaise chodh de? balaki khubshoorat hain. iske liye hum e accha dam milega tarabai se.

Bondita : kiya tarabai? tumlog mujhe lejana chate ho to thik hain main chalne ke liye taiyaar hu par ush bacchi se mujhe kuch baat karni hain.

They thought sometime and then agreed. The girl hugged bondita and bondita told something in her ear.  That moment harichan kaka came there.

Harichan : kon ho tumlog? or humari malkin ko choro.

Mens : aab yeh buddha rokega hum a.

One of them punched him.

Bondita : kaka aap jaiye ush bacchi ko leke.

Harichan : par aapko chodhke kaise?

Bondita : jaiye kaka.... apko meri kasam.

Harichan agreed and started running along with the girl. two of  the men satrted running after them.

Bondita : ush bacchi ko jane do badle main to chal rahi hu na sath main? usko jane do please.

Mens : sahi keh rahi hain yeh chal rahi hain iske samne to woh Bacchi kuch bhi nehi hain. chal isko hi leke chalte hain.

Bondita left with them. On the other hand anirudh become restless. He didn’t saw bondita after he wokeup. 

Anirudh : Bondita kaha hain?

Rudra : dekha sabne subah subah uthke isse boudi ka chehra dekhna hain.

Som and batuk giggled. Anirudh get tensed.

Anirudh : shutup batao bondita kaha hain? mujhe accha nehi lagraha.

Naina : woh bazar gayi hain jiju.

Anirudh : akele? usse akele kiyu jane diya?

Naina : akele nehi gayi hain jiju Harichan kaka uske sath gaye everything. Anirudh got relaxed. But something inside his heart not ready to clam.

Kuch kafa hu kuch dukhi hu

Suddenly harichan kaka came running with the girl.

Harichan : Malik....

Anirudh : kiya hua kaka? apko chot kaise lagi? or yeh bacchi kon hain?or Bondita woh kaha hain?

Harichan : malik mujhe pata nehi woh log malkin ko kiyu leja rahe. 

Then he told everything whatever happened there. Anirudh sat on his knees infront the little girl.

Anirudh : beta kiya hua?  kon usse le gaye?

Girl : aap hi anirudh roy Chowdhury ho na?

Anirudh noded his head with moist eyes.

Girl : woh log bohat bure hain.  woh log mujhe pakadne aye thei par didi ko le gaye.

Anirudh got fustraited and held the girl gently.

Anirudh : dekho baccha kiya hua tha? kon thei woh log or woh apko kiyu pakadna chahte thei?

Girl : kiyu ki woh log mujhe kahi lejana chahte thei mere maa baba ko bhi bandi bana liya tha. par didi ne mujhe bacha liya or unhone kaha mere kaan main ke yeh unki karnti ki taraf pehla kadam hain or apko yeh batane ko kaha.

Orpita : konsi jagah le jana chahte thei tumhe? pata hain?

Girl : yaad nehi araha. kuch to woh log keh rahe thei.

Anirudh : beta yaad karne ki kosis karo. humare liye jan na bohat zaruri hain.

Girl : ha kuch hiramandi...or tarabai aisa kuch.

Everyone felt like groud has swipped uder their feets. Orpita started crying.

Orpita : sab meri galti hain. mujhe unhe batana hi nehi chahiye tha.

Anirudh : kiya keh rahi ho tum kiya batana nehi chahiye tha?

Orpita : didi mujhse kuch din pehele hi puch rahi thi hiramandi ke bare main. maine unhe bataya tarabai ke bare main or waha ki ladkiyo ki halato ki bare main.

Anirudh : kon hain yeh tarabai?

Orpita told her everything also that how she was asking about how to go there.

Anirudh : mujhe samajh nehi araha main uspe ghussa hu ya garv mehsoos karu? koi itna accha kaise hosakta hain?

Naina : humari bondu aise hi hain jiju bachpaan se usse kranti ka fitoor tha.

Som batuk : sach main humari boudi ki jitni tareef kare untni kam hain.

Rudra : par hum boudi ko waha se nikalenge kaise?

Anirudh : maine usse wadah kiya tha ki sagai wale din ke main usse kabhi nehi rokunga uske sapne pure karne ke liye nehi rokunga or hum milke samaj ke liye kuch karenge. par usne akele hi Itna badah kadam utha liya. par jo bhi ho main usse kuch nehi hone dunga.

Everyone : or hum sab apke sath hain.

Anirudh : Orpita kiya tum humai bata sakti ho? waha kaise jaa sakte hain?

Orpita : ha chiknebabu main apko waha leja sakti hu. par aap log unsab se akele nehi ladh payenge. woh log bohat khatrnak hain.

Som : kiyu na hum baba ki madat lete hain dada?

Batuk : par kaka?  unka kaise samjhenge?

Anirudh : woh sab dekha jayega. mujhe bas itna pata hain ki mujhe bondita ko wapas lana hain chahe mujhe kuch bhi karna padhe.

Anirudh : mere pas ek plan hain...
