You tapped at your desk, the blackboard slowly being filled with different studies about music from back in the day. It had been a while since you'd been to a physical school, so you obviously didn't quite know what to do until Kaya said, "Just write down the summary of what he's saying."

The class felt rather dragged as the teacher would constantly talk about the message of the song going along with the key of the song. You didn't think it was a good idea to take up music while you were in high school.

"Well? How was your first class?" Yu asked, knowing that was a stupid question.

"Eh..." You pursed your lips. "Well, I would've appreciated if the teacher would stop calling on me, asking, 'Oh I'm sure you know a lot about this.'"

The group laughed as you stopped at your lockers, which were conveniently placed in the same hallway. "Hey, Y/N, do you have a foundation? My scar's showing." You deadpanned at Shindo and shut your locker. "Don't be a jokester, you're not funny."

"Agh! Right in the heart!"

"She's not wrong, Shindo."

"You're not supposed to agree, Hina!"

You chuckled and held your books at your chest. "Well, Kaya and I have math next period, so we'll have to head off. It's on the other side of the building, right?" Yu laughed, leaning back on his locker and ringing his arm around Nora. "Already know the school's layout? Man, Y/N, you're a smart one."

"Hands off!" Nora pushed off of him and pushed her hair behind her ear. "Idiot. Pass your classes and maybe I'll let you do that."

Kaya smirked and skipped up next to you. "Come on, let's leave the lovebirds by themselves."

"KAYA!!"

You rolled your eyes with an amused smile, trotting down the hall towards the math class. "Hey Y/N." You glanced over at Kaya with a questioning expression and she fidgeted with her fingers. "Do you really think Nora has a crush on Yu?"

"No, of course not!" You laughed. "She'd blush at a squirrel if it winked at her, let alone a guy that had a new 'girlfriend' every week since the age of 13." With a small hop, you turned to face Kaya face to face. "Why?"

"N-Nothing."

You raised a brow, accidentally walking into someone as you walked backwards. "Oh, I'm so- Miya?" He turned around and arched his brow. "Y/N? What are you doing?" You faced him and scratched the back of your neck. "I'm just on my way to math."

"Oh, I'm going as well."

Kaya brightened up. "Then you can go with us!" She gently pushed you into Miya and skipped ahead.

"You okay?" Miya asked as you unintentionally placed your hand on his chest to gain your balance. "Y-Yeah." You faced the ground, scared you looked flustered as you stood up and walked forward. "Come on."

You seated yourself in the back of the class as Kaya sat in front of you and Miya sat next to you, while others seemed to take the seats around you like mold growing throughout cheese. You sighed and leaned forward to rest your head on your arm.

"Just a few more hours." You whispered to yourself before sitting up and turning a page in your notebook.

Then it was lunch. You quietly walked down the hall with Miya and Kaya pinned to your sides like bodyguards. "Do you want to eat in homeroom?" Miya asked since all of you had the same homeroom.

"Kaya, if you want, you can eat in the cafeteria with everyone else." You said. "I think it's better that I don't eat in a crowded place like the cafeteria." Hesitantly, Kaya nodded and departed on her way to the cafeteria.

"Do you want to go to the cafeteria?"

"No, it's fine. My friends aren't in the same school as me anyways."

"I see." You moved your hair behind your ear and sighed. "I thought it would look good to have my hair down for once, but it's just messy."

Miya was silent, veering left into homeroom with you following behind him. He sat down at one desk while you sat in the one behind him so he turned around so he could share the desk with you.

"Do you have a hair tie?" He questioned a few minutes into your meals. Your mouth still full, you nodded and swallowed. "Yeah I do, but Langa normally does my hair for me. Every time I do it, it's all messy."

Miya sighed and stood up. "Give me." He made grabby hands at you and you reached into your pocket and placed the hair tie in his hand. He went behind you and you felt him tugging at your hair, little strands on the sides of your face being pulled back little by little. "There."

You touched the top of your head and looked up at him. "Thanks!" He scoffed and looked away. "What kind of fourteen year old doesn't know how to tie their own hair?"

"What?!" You stood up and began chasing him around the class, pinning him up against the blackboard with a piece of chalk hovering above his uniform. "I will."

"You wouldn't dare."

The door suddenly burst open and your other friends came through the door. "If you were uncomfortable with the cafeteria, we could've... eaten... here." Hina went silent, seeing the misleading position you and Miya were in. "Never mind..."

"GUYS, IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!"

You backed off from Miya and chase your friends down the hall, Yu, Kaya, and Nora's giggles echoing towards the classroom.

Miya looked down at his uniform, seeing a light pink smudge on the grey suit that you unintentionally put there. He quickly wiped it off and looked at his pink tinted fingertips, his face then going red as he bent his legs and knelt down on the ground with his back to the wall.

"Dang it..."
