The boys searched the entire studio, all the way to the washroom, but found no one.

But not nothing.

"Here." Eiji picked up a phone off the floor. They were in the parking lot. "They were willing to leave their phone here so they don't get caught?"

"He." Miya stared at the phone, a memory suddenly rushing to his mind. When you and him were hanging out. A black phone with a clear case, a Polaroid of you at a concert contained in it. He couldn't forget it. "It's a he."

"How do you know?"

"I just do." Miya tapped his foot. I should report him, now that he's gone this far. He went too far that day too, how could I forget?! It was dumbfounding to say the least, how pathetic he felt in that moment.

But, more curious than not, he wanted to know exactly who this guy was.

"If you head to the police, I advise you to be careful with your words." Shindo warned, a certain edge in his voice that Miya hadn't heard before. "The moment you mention Y/N's name anywhere, cameras will be on the location in the blink of an eye."

Miya felt his heart drop. This was a bit more complicated than he thought it was going to be.

"Miya!" You lifted your dress—which was definitely too long for you—above your ankles and stopped a few feet in front of him. "Did you find anything?"

He glanced at the lights aimed at the spot you were just standing in a few moments ago. "Did you continue with the photo shoot?" Eiji took the words right out of Miya's mouth.

"Uh, yeah." You rubbed the back of your neck. "I wasn't going to postpone it. My schedule's busy enough. I have an interview tomorrow, a rehearsal the day after, and a recording for my album coming up for the three days after that."

Miya hummed, rather uncomfortably. Shindo knew how to add a dramatic effect to his voice, but the way he described... anything, seemed far to serious to take lightly.

It wasn't like Hina. Hina spoke a bit like a princess. Her voice, light and calm, her words, ripped right out of a fantasy novel.

Shindo spoke as if he were retelling the murder of family. An edge in his voice and somewhat snappy at times. He didn't know how Yu ever got used to it, let alone Hina. And talking about you nonetheless.

"Miya?" You tilted your head. "Are you alright?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." He mentally wiped the dread off his face and continued talking. "We found the guy's phone, but I don't know if the data is backed up anywhere. Do you want to deal with it?"

"I will." Shindo adjusted his collar, this time a bit more dignified than how he did when you went to pick him up. "One of my father's private investigators can keep a microscope on the matter. If it must be brought to court, we have one of the best lawyers in Japan."

You blinked, giving Eiji and Nora that same, "I'm rich but I really can't relate" look from before. "Well then, I'll leave you to it?" You seemed to even question your own statement, but you said nothing of it.

"Where are the other girls?" Shindo asked. This tone didn't seem as impending as his other one. He seemed to be like a high school boy trying to find his crush on campus.

"They helped themselves to the snack bar." You cleared your throat, gently hugging your figure as if you were covering something. "Would you like anything from there?"

"Heck yeah!" Yu took Eiji's hand and dragged him towards the table covered with a white tablecloth which was covered with all kinds of foods, from sweets to rabbit food.
