Athanasia turned and found Lucas leaning against the wall. Forcing out a smile, Athanasia's eyebrow twitched.
"Hello, Lucas."
Walking over, Lucas leaned down to match Athanasia's height. "How's my wonderful girlfriend doing?"
"I'm just peachy, thank you."
If anyone took a glance at these two, they would've been envious. They look so perfect. But if they looked closer, they would see it's the most unhealthy relationship ever.
Both are focused on maintaining their title, Lucas as one of the most powerful guys in the school and Athanasia as the most influential girl.
They don't date for love. They were simply more powerful together.
Athanasia sometimes wonders if it would be different in another life. But right now? It doesn't matter.
