Dreams.
The land Athanasia shall never arise from. The wondrous world where one can fly, or breath underwater.
But alas, the princess' dreams are not sweet. The poor girl will have to suffer her worst nightmare over.
And over.
And over.
And over.
Aeternitas smiled, tearing away at her dreams and twisting them into nightmares.
The girl whimpered, curling her body into a ball.
Meanwhile, trapped in her own mind, Athanasia was facing her execution over and over. Her father's hateful gaze, Jennette's fearful one.
Felix's cold face as the rope snapped her neck.
Over.
And over.
Where was Lucas?
Glancing upward, Athanasia gasped.
Lucas was there. Spectating.
Not helping. It's as if he couldn't.
Forever trapped, watching Athanasia die over and over.
They were stuck.
