Summer of 1993 has been interesting for everyone. As the Potter's went with the Weasley's to Egypt, the Taylor's, Smith's and Carla went to Spain for a holiday.
But unfortunately, the lovely holiday was over and it was time to go to Diagon Alley to shop for new stuff as Cassia's 3rd year at Hogwarts is starting soon.
The first shop they went to was Madam Malkin's and Cassia, Carla and Sam got new uniform. They also went to get the books they need and stocked up on quills, parchment, ink, etc. But now, they are going to the shop Cassia was looking the most forward to.
So, as they entered the shop, the bell above rang, signaling that someone had entered. And the people in the shop, looked over in curiosity. A voice greeted Cassia as she was seen first.
"Cassia, hey!"
Cassia looked over and spotted Hermione with Ron and Harry, she smiled lightly and Hermione went over and hugged her. Cassia hugged her back and as Cassia looked over Hermione's shoulder, she saw Ron with his rat in his hand and Harry was just staring at her with his mouth open.
The two stopped hugging and Hermione asked.
"Are you getting a pet too?"
Cassia nodded and stated.
"Yeah, I'm hoping to get a kitten. Smiley is getting lonely."
Hermione squealed and grabbed Cassia's hand before pulling her over to the cat/kitten section. Ron waved at Cassia and Harry tried to speak, but it came out with a stutter.
"H-Hi."
Ron and Hermione smirked to themselves as Harry was just in a daze, Cassia was a little weirded out as she was waiting for an arrogant remark or something, but she ignored it and just politely smiled before looking over to the door to see everyone else come in.
Harry immediately faltered and went red when he saw Cassia's dad sternly staring him down, Azalea saw, playfully hit her husband's chest and stated.
"Now, now, Matthew. Don't go scaring the poor boy."
Azalea smirked as Matthew huffed out and went over to his daughter, helping her decide which kitten to get. Azalea started talking with Fleamont and Euphemia and soon, Molly and Arthur joined in.
After a few minutes of cooing over the cute kittens and cats, Cassia finally found one that she absolutely adored. It was a little grey, white and ginger kitten. She also found it was a girl and aside from the cuteness, the eyes of the kitten was what brought Cassia in and made her fall in love with it.

With her heterochromia eyes, she was named Hetty. And boy was Hetty going to be spoilt rotten.
When Cassia paid for her pet, Hermione had gotten one herself. She got a ginger Half-Kneazle cat called Crookshanks. As Cassia, Hermione and Carla cooed at Crookshanks, the boys were a little weirded out by the cat's smushed face.
