KYLES: They aren't robots, to be particular, they aren't even A.I.'s, that is why they write their destiny on their own. But at times they are referred to as robots, why? Well, because they were created by a person through scientific tools and principles (fictional). 

So, they are considered A.I.'s that are born with the feelings and thought processes of their own which can be affected by feelings. Basically, they are customized humans who can be controlled through mechanisms as well as by the flow of emotions.

The combats are over and squads are being made. Everyone is filling forms in the orientation room, a simple wooden room with glossy walls. Jon is ignorantly roaming throughout the hall till he bumps into Kamaya who is smiling. 

His silky strands of hair nearly cover his eyes which might make him look quite spooky. Kamaya snaps at the form in his hand, Jon is terrified with its comparatively slower snap sound which somehow happens to be louder as well. "I thought I would help you" Kamaya mentions innocently and hands over the paper to Jon. "What if I don't want to write? You should have bought a digital form instead". 

An elder person joins them, it's a dwarf man whose facial resembles Elijah (Elijah was one of the six warriors who went against war with zetai). "Hope you're doing fine kids" he enthusiastically says with his dimples, smiling just like Kamaya, probably Elijah smiled the same way, just that his dimple was deeper. 

"Yup!" Kamaya exclaims in that cheeky voice he gets when he is elated. "I hate what they did to my name" jokes Jon in his hoarse, greasy, rough tone voice (the joke is: orientation-orient). Even after growing up, his tone stays the same, deep but impudent tone.

When filling the forms, there is a robot that asks the matter one would like to work against; choosing from Pheoniscism, Trespassing, robbery, corruption, murders, kidnaps, accidents. Jarred under Pheoniscism means, any offense even if kidnapping or Pheoniscism, if it is done on the basis of the Phoenix debate, it is a felony. It is assigned to a group willing to oppose this movement.

 Bringing in, whilst most of the willing people ticked on Pheoniscism placed their bets in the field because they themselves had been exempted/hidden from the outer world as it is so believed that the once born with these abilities of Deva can be considered a cult or "different" from the others. With their abilities, they shall rather perform as a vigilante. 

 Jon chose the topic because he felt it's something related to people who run slow or fast and are bullied for their speed. Even if not in a race, in any field. You see, he ignores lectures because the slow mouthing of the teacher tingles his sensation so he prefers dodging them, though he knows the synonym of Pheoniscism is Racism.
