Talia's POV

"Which one?" I ask and motion to my ties.

Leah thinks for a minute then she points to the tie she points to my gold tie.

"That'll look best with that shade of red." Leah says then she ties my tie.

I'm wearing a garnet colored suit.

"You do know that you don't have to wear a suit to my appointment." Leah says.

"I have that meeting afterwords Sunshine." I say.

"Oh yeah." Leah says. "I knew that."

"Mhmm." I say then I kiss my future wife.

Leah and I get a bit lost in the kiss, but unfortunately we get interrupted.

"Fuck's sake." I mumble when I hear someone constantly ringing the doorbell.

I finish getting dressed then I walk down stairs and open the door.

"Yes?" I say then I see all my national team teammates.

It's SheBelives Cup time and somehow I got called up.

"We need your help." Christen says.

I sigh then I open the door wider and let my teammates in.

Once my teammates are inside, we head to the living room then I stand in front of everyone.

"So what's so important that you interrupted me on my day off?" I ask.

"When we were having breakfast at the hotel this morning, some cops showed up and arrested Kelley, Lindsey, and Emily." Christen says.

"On what charges?" I ask.

"Murder."

"Say what now?" I say.

"Yeah." Christen says.

"Explain." I say.

Audrey sighs then she explains everything.

Allegedly Kelley, Lindsey, and Emily went out to a bar last night that I specifically told them not to go to, but they did anyway and some dude hit on them, but they told him to fuck off.

The dude apparently was found dead in the morning.

"What's the dead dudes name?" I ask.

"Zak Wilkinson." Sarah says.

"That doesn't make any sense." I say as I look at the ladies who play in New York. "That dude was found dead last week."

"That's what we said." Moe says. "But the cops wouldn't listen."

"Fuck's sake." I mumble. "Who was with them at the bar last night?"

"We were." Jane, Mal, Sam, and Abby say.

"Who did they piss off?"

"Some dude who introduced himself as Declan Hayes." Sam says.

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me." I say.

"Who is he?" Ali asks.

"He's an assistant District Attorney for Manhattan." I say.

"Fuck." Ash says.

"Honestly Kelley, Lindsey, and Emily we're being annoying to the dude, but they weren't annoying to the point where they should be arrested." Abby says.

"What's going on?" Leah asks causing everyone to turn towards her.

"One of you explain." I say then Audrey does so.
