Talia's POV

"I'm so done with her." I say as Sarah and I here Kelley's loud ass voice behind us.

"Same." Sarah says.

"I mean literally." I say. "I told her multiple times not to make me sing in public and she repeatedly does it so I'm done."

"Are you gonna tell her?"

"I really don't wanna talk to her so I may just ignore her." I say then we're passed tonight's line up as we pull up to the stadium.

Ali's trying out a 4-1-2-1-2 formation tonight in our last game of SheBelieves, which is against the Netherlands.

Once at Harlem River Stadium, the bus parks then everyone gets off and heads to the locker room.

When we get to the locker room everyone puts their stuff down in their respective lockers then we head outside for the pitch inspection.

After we've inspected the pitch, my teammates and I head back to the locker room.

When I get to my locker I take my AirPods out, take out my nose ring, take off my necklaces and my rings, then I put my jewelry and AirPods in my bag.

Once I'm jewelry free I put on my warm up top then I put on my game shorts.

I then sit down in my locker and put on my socks, my shin pads and my green boots.

After my boots are on I head to Christen's locker then sit down on the floor in-between her legs.

"Hey Freckles." Christen says then she starts running her fingers through my hair.

"Hi Chrissy." I say then I face forward and let Christen do her thing.

"Talia you're on TV." Sam says then I hear my voice come from the tv.

"Do you think you're misunderstood?" The interview lady asks as I notice everyone looking at the tv.

"I think I'm understood differently by everyone." I say.

"Well that's deep." Crystal says.

"Do you think you're under more pressure than your teammates?" The interview lady asks then I shake my head no.

"Pressure's a single mama trying to make ends meet." I say. "Father gone somewhere and she don't know when he coming back."

"Mhmm." Someone in the locker room says.

"Pressure's someone in the hospital fighting for their life." I say. "Pressure's a dope fein shooting up because they've lost all hope and their feeling that needle in their arm is going to allow them to escape for just a moment...That's pressure."

"Damn." Ash mumbles.

"This is a game." I say. "This has a scoreboard up and after 90 minutes, half the people are gonna go home happy while the other half go home sad."

I hate when pro athlete's say playing their sport is the most pressure they've ever felt.

We're literally playing a children's game while getting paid.

"This is a game." I say. "A game ain't pressure...a game ain't pressure at all."

"Guess I can start calling you philosopher freckles now." Christen says.
