You sighed as your stomach rumbled. As you pushed yourself up the vibration from your phone. You sat yourself up and grabbed your phone, staring at the unknown number that looked familiar. Then you thought about it for a moment.

Oh! This is the dude's number... Boss. You cleared your throat and jolted your finger down to answer.

"Hello?" He said.

"Hey boss," you respond. "Is something wrong?"

Boss immediately answered. "No no! Of course not! You did an amazing job with the animatronics. But the pizzeria is reopening soon as the building is done and hiring is over,"

So what is he calling me about?

"Though, we wanted to offer you a job as a nightguard. After the day, you can check out the animatronics and fix anything wrong with them. Then you would have a 6-hour shift with some others. So about a 7-8 hour shift,"

"Oh..." you began to think it through. Things were already suspicious with the animatronics, now being there for 7-8 was tough. You took a deep breath to break the silence.

"I'll do it. When's the opening?"

"Great, it's in two days, April 3rd," he sounded cheerful. "I'll send you the address,"

You nodded as if he could see you. You thought about the bruises and Freddy's attack, you thought about everything. What would happen if I said no? "Okay, see you then," you mumble then hang up. You dropped your phone and stood up, heading to your kitchen.
