THAT PROMISE

Chapter Fourteen

Life is really simple but we inside on making it complicated....

"So if you possibly see Harris, what would be your next action? " I asked Daniel as we were both seated opposite each in the Café as he kept looking around for Harris...

"Is it necessary for you to know?" Daniel said as I scoffed...

"Umm, so we are both in this together." I said..

"Liam."Daniel said sliently but I heard, he kept looking at my back..

Sure, he sighted someone...

I was about to look back but he grabbed my head..

"Don't look." Daniel whispered..

"Who's Liam?." I whispered back

"Why are you whispering?" Daniel said as he raised his left eye brow up..

"You whispered at me first, so I decided to keep it going." I whispered again...

"Stop, don't whisper anymore," Daniel said... "He's leaving " Daniel said as I saw a man leaving the Café...

" So who's Liam?" I said..

"Someone close to Harris. " Daniel said as he dropped the bill on the table as he stood up..

"Where are we going?" I asked as I also stood up...

"To follow him, duh." Daniel said...

"Isn't that bad to follow someone, I mean, everyone has their privacy. " I said as we left the Café and Daniel started his motorcycle engine..

"Get in, we are going to lose him." Daniel said as he threw me a helmet which I caught with haste...

I hopped on his motorcycle as I remembered what happened when I entered his bike, Gosh, he purposely did that..

I held him by his waist..

"Well, someone is knowing the rules." Daniel said as he drove off...

We kept following Liam, we stopped at a club...

"What are we doing here?" I shuttered a little bit..

"This is his bus stop, so is ours," Daniel said,"Now, get down." He added as I got down from his bike, I scoffed loudly and used my fingers to brush my hair out of frustration..

"I'm not entering there." I said..

"And why is that?" Daniel said as he got down from his bike and sat down on it facing me..

"I can't handle clubs.. I'm not used to it." I said..

" 'Used to it' really or you haven't been there before. " Daniel said as he smirked..

"Okay, I haven't been there before but now I'm here." I said..

"So you want to stay. Too bad, it's going to be really scary outside the club tonight, bad boys are everywhere and I can't leave you here, you are following me in there. " Daniel said as he inhaled heavily...

" Are you going to lose me? I heard it's always crowdy there." I said as Daniel came close to me and held me by my shoulders..

"You are not worth losing." Daniel said as I smiled..

"Thanks." I said..

"Great, let's go." Daniel said as he grabbed me by my hand and dragged me in...

The club was electric, I guess, everywhere flowed with good vibes and loud music,as people danced on the dance floor.. Daniel didn't let go of my hand as he continued to follow Liam...

Liam stopped in front of some guys as they greeted themselves in their kind of way...

Daniel took me to the counter,as I sat down...

"A martini for her." Daniel said as he rubbed his temples...

" Are you okay?" I said a little bit worried..

He looked stressed..

"Yeah."He said as the bar boy served my drink..

" Don't go anywhere, order whatever drinks you want,I would be back..." Daniel said as he was about to leave but I held his hand...

" You said you weren't going to let go." I said in a high pitched voice as I felt a tightening in my throat..

"Anna, it's dangerous, I have to go by myself." Daniel said..

"Then why did you bring me here?" I said as he tried to say something but nothing came...

" I would be back soon." Daniel said as he left me...

As I breathed out...

After a few minutes....

"What is a beautiful girl like you doing here all alone?" I heard a male voice as I looked up only to see see a guy standing in front of me,he had a brown wavy hair, cute dimples..

"Oh, nothing.. I'm waiting for someone." I said..

"Oh..then how about I keep you company?" He said as he sat opposite me..

"I'm Mickel." Mickel said..

"Oh,am Anna." I said as I smiled...

As I laughed my lungs out, Mickel was a fun guy...

"You look even more beautiful when laughing." Mickel said

" Oh really, thank you." I said, as he looked at me...

I don't even know where Daniel is? Have been waiting for a while now..

As I felt a hand on my thigh, distracting me from looking at the dance floor..

"What are you doing?" I asked Mickel as he continued rubbing my thigh..

"Stop." I said as I removed his hand away with haste...

"I think, I'm not welcomed here." I said as I left the club as Mickel followed me from behind...

"Babe,wait up." He said as he continued to follow me but I walked faster,I felt a hand on mine..

"What are you doing,Anna?" He said..

"I'm not interested." I said as I removed my hand from him..

"Oh, you should be." He said as he held me by my waist and pulled me closer, but I struggled to get away from him...

"Let go." I said..

"You heard her, she said 'let go'" I heard a familiar voice as I looked around to see Daniel,he looked angry..

"Hey, what's your business? Come on,run along." Mickel said..

" Let go of her now." Daniel said as he moved close to us as Daniel dragged me away from him as I was already shivering...

"Do you want to get hurt?" Mickel said..

"No, but I guess you want to." Daniel said in a serious deep voice...

From nowhere,four guys came out,as they stayed behind Mickel... and Daniel smirked...

"Let go of that girl,since nobody want to get hurt." Mickel said...

" No." Daniel said..

" Okay,then.. we all get hurt." Mickel said as he and his guys came closer as I tightened Daniel's hand... Daniel took me by my other hand and started running...

"Get them." I could hear Mickel yell loud...

As Daniel and I ran together with our hands interlocked.....
