"LET US COMMENCE WITH THE third test! Memorising skills!" The host exclaimed and the crowd roared with cheers of excitement. "Memorising? That's going to be my downfall!" Haeun panicked, pretending to be nervous in front of her servants.
"All of the Princesses have thirty minutes to memorise one hundred and fifty Chinese characters. Afterwards, have another thirty minutes to write it out in ink." The host read out the instructions in his booklet.
"O-One hundred and FIFTY?!" This time, Mirae could tell that it was a real gasp of panic from Haeun. Not only she was shocked, almost everyone else was too.
"Finally, something that I can do properly." Mirae sighed and slumped into her seat. "YOU ARE GOOD WITH MEMORISING?!" Haeun exclaimed in amazement and because of her loudness, everyone's attention was on Mirae.
"Well... I'm kinda okay with it. Not the best! Haha..." Mirae lied but, she deep inside wanted to flex that skill of hers. However, it may not look good on her image especially when she was in front of all the royal members.
"Memorising is not that difficult." Seok Yoon tucked her hair behind her ear while the people around her started asking her for advice.
Right, Seok Yoon was also good at memorising. She's going to be a trouble for me. Including the fact that she had been doing perfectly well for the previous tests, tsk.
"Without further ado, let the thirty minutes start!" The host pulled open the script that was filled with one hundred and fifty words.
━━━━━━━━ one hour later...
"Time is up. Please hand in your work." The host indicated the end of this test and the royal servants came over to collect the scrips. Mirae noticed the distressed expressions on most of the princesses' faces. Good, this was her time to earn first place.
"I expected it to be more arduous." She heard Seok Yoon heaved from in front. The people around her stared at her in awe and started pleading with her for answers.
Mirae bit onto her inner lip. "She's my only worry for now." She thought as she lowered down her head in unsettlement. She was agitated, unsure of whether her script was completely right or if she made a careless mistake. She had to outshine everyone in this component since there was nothing else where she could win.
