Pranbir: His redemption

Prachi's room:
Ranbir placed her on the bed and tried to comfort her.
He hugged her, he was trying other way to comfort her since the breathing technique was not working.
Ranbir:'Shhh, it's ok. we are all here with you. Even Maa now. Shhh.'
He stroked her hair while he could feel her breathing regulate. He continued to say soothing words to her until her breathing was back to normal.
Prachi broke the hug, he also looked at her and noticed her tears. Prachi signed him and he understood that she was hurt by Abhi's words.

Prachi was crying and pointed the other room.
Prachi:'P.....'
Unknowingly, Prachi tried to speak. That surprised Ranbir, which rose a hope in him. He continuously nodded yes to her, encouraging her to speak. He was emotional hearing her voice.
Prachi, still crying though:'Pa......'
Ranbir was elated hearing her, even though one syllable but he heard her voice. But she couldn't speak more than that.
She started coughing. He made her drink water and made her calm down.
Ranbir:'It's ok, Prachi. Take it easy. It's ok.'
He hugged her, feeling content. He wiped her tears.
Ranbir:'We will talk to Chief and he will understand. You don't worry. I am with you, right? It will be fine.'
His words pacified her and she calmed down.

Ranbir realised that she didn't pay attention that she spoke. He was observing her and was contemplating if he should ask her or talk about that.
Ranbir, wanting to test the waters but also hopeful:'Prachi, you spoke....'
She looked at him astonished. She recalled how she actually did. She avoided his eyes completely.
Ranbir, delighted:'you talked, even though one syllable.... I heard your voice.' Prachi saw how jubiliant he was.
Aryan came there.
Aryan:'are you ok, Prachi?' She nodded yes while Ranbir was looking at her smilingly.

Aryan:'The doctor is on his way but Pragya aunty is tensed about Prachi. We should go to her.'
Prachi nodded and ran out of there.
Aryan:'What happened?
Ranbir, cheerfully:'She spoke....'
Aryan, surprised:'What?'
Ranbir explained what happened. Aryan was also extremely happy hearing him and both hugged each other happily.

Aryan:'I waited for this day since so long.' Arbir were very elated.
Aryan:'but Ranbir, Chief and Aunty just woke up, we don't know about their condition, knowing about Prachi might be a shock for them.'
Ranbir:'you are right. But Maa will definitely talk to Prachi.'
Aryan:'We will have to hide it until the doctor comes and confirms if we can tell them about Prachi and you guys seperation.'
Ranbir nodded yes worriedly. They both rushed to Abhigya's room.

Abhigya's room:
Pragya was asking Prachi what happened earlier while she was tensed.
Aryan:'Aunty, actually Prachi was so happy that you guys were conscious but hearing all that, she just got scared. That's it.'
Ranbir:'Right.'
Pragya looked on doubtfully. Even Abhi was doubtful.

Pragya:'now, you are fine?'
Prachi nodded yes.
Pragya:'Where is Sushma aunty?'
Aryan:'She went to London for an important meeting. I will call her and inform her about you guys.'
Pragya:'You guys had to come here hurriedly.'
Ranbir:'no Maa, we were staying here itself.'
The doctor came and checked Abhigya.

Prachi was near the door waiting for the doctor to be done. Ranbir came to her and held her hands.
Ranbir:'it's going to be fine. They will be fine.'
Prachi removed his hands from hers. Abhi noticed that but didn't say anything. He turned to the doctor who was checking Pragya.
Doctor:'Everything is fine, no worries but both are still weak. They need proper rest and care. I don't have to worry about that, Prachi is there. She took great care of you in these 2 months.'
Pragya looked at Prachi proudly and emotionally. Abhi pretended that he didn't hear anything.
Doctor:'You two rest. Prachi, please follow me, there are some changes in their medicines, I will update you.'
She nodded and followed the doctor outside. The boys also tagged along.

Aryan:'What happened, doctor?'
Doctor:'Mr Mehra is perfectly fine, but Mrs. Mehra is still weak, so no stess or any kind of tension.'
The boys and Prachi exchanged looks.
Ranbir:'Doctor, you are aware of Prachi's condition, how are we going to tell Maa?'
Doctor:'I will suggest you not to tell anything for now.'
Aryan:'How are we suppose to hide this?'
The trio were tensed while the doctor left from there.

Abhi came to them and asked them what did the doctor say.
Aryan informed him about Pragya's situation.
Abhi:'Then keep Prachi away from her, there will be no stress.'
Ranbir:'Chief, please. You can't seperate a mother and daughter.'
Abhi:'But she can seperate a father and daughter?'
Ranbir was about to counter argued but Prachi held his hand and nodded no. He kept quiet after that.
Abhi:'you guys know where Rhea is, so call her here. I want to see my daughter.'
Arbir were tensed.
This house was Prachi's safe and comfort zone, they couldn't let any toxic person around her here.
Aryan:'I will take you to Rhea tomorrow, but she cannot come here.'
Abhi:'Why not? You heard the doctor, Pragya has to rest and I want her to meet our daughter as well. So call her here.
Either you call her here, or I am going to find a way to call her myself.'
He left from there leaving the trio tensed. Prachi also headed to check on Pragya, but seeing her asleep, she moved to her room.
Aryan:'Bro, make Prachi sleep. Earlier, she was emotionally drained out but after the panic attack, she might be physically drained out as well.'
Ranbir:'I will take care of her. You handle Chief. He is going to talk to only you.'
Aryan nodded yes.
Ranbir also came to Prachi's room.

The curtains were opened allowing the moonlight to lighten up the room.
She was in front of the mirror but lost in her own thoughts.
He recalled what Prachi's doctor told him. That Prachi had only one aim, and once it's gone....She will fall in even more darkness.
He smiled at the ironic situation.
She was standing in the dark, the darkness of this room, but the moonlight was peeking through all that darkness.
He had to bring the light back in her life. He approached her and once he was near her, Prachi looked at him.
Ranbir leaned in to switch on the lights but Prachi stopped him.
Ranbir:'so let's enjoy the moonlight then.'
She went to change while he went to the kitchen with Aryan.
Aryan:'why did you bring me here?'
Ranbir:'Hot chocolate, please make it.'
Aryan:'You should learn how to make it now.'
Ranbir:'yeah, show me.'
Aryan showed him and poured 4 glasses. 2 for Pranbir and the other 2 for him and Abhi.
They both went to their different destination.

While waiting for Prachi, Ranbir was searching for his blazer but couldn't find it.
'I left it in Chief's room.' He thought how he removed it when the doctor came. His phone was in it. He let it be, he will check it tomorrow. 
Prachi came out and saw Ranbir near the window. He smilingly showed her the hot chocolate.
They both sat on the window seat staring at the moon. They were both drinking the hot chocolate without saying anything.
They didn't have to say anything, they were understanding each other without any words. Neither of them spoke in that moment, there was a strange comfortable silence between them.
