Pranbir: His redemption

Part 64

Next morning,
Prachi woke up alone in the room. She looked at the time and sat straight immediately. It was noon.
That's 2 days in a row that she is waking up this late.

Ranbir came out of the washroom, after taking a bath, wiping his hair.
Prachi:"how did i come here? We were on the terrace, right?"

Ranbir, getting ready:"yes i brought you. No-one could see us there, Prachi."
She nodded realising this fact. She observed him carefully and noticed him getting ready for work.

Prachi:"are you going somewhere?"
He came and sat next to her.

Ranbir:"yes, you remember the meeting you helped me with...."
She recalled when they came back from the hotel and nodded.
Ranbir:"we got the deal, i need to go to sign the contract papers."
Prachi, cutely:"ohh... you are going to Delhi?"
He nodded yes sadly.

Prachi:"why are you being sad? You got the deal, you should be happy. Congratulations."
She forwarded her hand towards him for a handshake.

He, smilingly, shook her hands.
Ranbir:"i need to go today and will return tonight."
Prachi:"no way, Mr. Kohli. You are not driving at night. You are staying there. And don't try to convince me otherwise."

He knew he wouldn't win this one as not only Prachi, but his parents also will tell him the same thing.
So he agreed.
Ranbir, sadly:"how am i going to spend one day without you?"
Prachi, teasingly:"distance increases love, Baklu."
Ranbir:"really?"
She nodded.
Ranbir:"let's see then."

He helped her with her morning routine and then put her back on the bed.
Prachi:"i will get bored today. Even Aryan and Chucks have meeting."
Ranbir:"yeah, he told me. But everyone else is here only, ok."
She nodded.
Prachi:"then bring me downstairs please."
He nodded and picked her up.

They came downstairs and Ranbir placed her on the sofa. Pragya came to her along with Aryan.
Aryan:"Sister, wish me luck for my meeting."
Prachi:"you will rock it, brother."
Purab also came there and kissed her head.

Purab:"you take care until we are back, ok?"
She nodded.

Ranbir's secretary also came there. Ranbir exchanged looks with Prachi.
She signed him to go and reassured him that she will be fine.
He finally agreed and went to get his stuff.

Before going, Ranbir explained the medicine to Pragya and then sat in front of Prachi.

Pragya left to keep the medicines in the kitchen and Aryan/Purab also left. Pranbir were alone now.
Ranbir:"take care, okay?"
Prachi, smilingly:"Baklu, i will. Now go and come back quickly."
He nodded still hesitating to go. He didn't want to leave her but he knew he couldn't stay with her every seconds. It will become bad if they cannot spend some time without each other.

Ranbir took a quick glance around them and saw that they were alone. He leaned in and placed his lips on hers kissing her slowly. Prachi also reciprocated with same passion.

The kiss didn't last long before Ranbir moved away.
He stood up and kissed her forehead, over the bandage.
Ranbir:"i love you Chikchiki and i will miss you."
Prachi:"i love you too. You will have to come back first thing in the morning so that I don't miss you that much."
Ranbir:"Done, Chikichiki."

Pragya joined them along with Kohli family and Abhi. And finally Ranbir left.

Pallavi came to Prachi and fed her some food. Pragya looked happily at them. Finally Prachi was accepted by Kohlis.
Dida:"Prachi, i wanted to give you something."
She turned to Dida and saw a small jewelry box in Dida's hand.
She signed her what was in it.
Dida:"open it and find out yourself."
