"And we have just a little under a minute to go here in the fourth quarter." Micheal Breen said over the mic
Morgan rubbed the sweat off of her hands against her shorts as she got in position for the last play.
The ball was thrown to her and she dribbled down the court for next bucket. She passed the ball and found an open spot for a shot. Now with fifteen seconds on the clock, she got the ball passed to her and hit a three pointer making it right before the buzzer.
The crowd went crazy as a few team members gave her daps.
"And that is it, the Lakers win 101 to 98!"
Morgan grabbed a towel and followed her team to the locker room.
"Good game tonight y'all!" One of the team members, Malik said
"Aye, we still doing the party at your crib Saturday?" He asked Morgan
"Don't say it's a party man, you gonna get me nervous." She chuckled
"I'm just saying." He laughed
Morgan nodded "Yeah, I know. It's still on though."
"Okay cool."
Morgan quickly hit the showers and left out to get some food. Her security guard behind her as she left out of the building.
She opened the back door of the Rolls Royce and got in as he got in the driver seat and pulled off.
She rolled the partition up as a close friend called her.
"Hello?" She answered
"Congrats on the game, Morgan ." Miracle said
"Thank you." She smiled, "How your day was?"
"Busy." She sighed
"Tell me about it." She leaned back in the seat getting comfortable
"No, you don't wanna hear all about my day."
"I asked didn't I? I'm all ears, baby."
"Okay well I did three magazines shoots today and just came back from a meeting with my manager."
"Three magazines? So I'm going to see your face more often huh?"
Miracle chuckled "Really?"
Morgan laughed as the car came to stop. She looked up out the tented windows and seen they were at the gas station.
Not knowing how long her food would take she sat up.
"I'm about to go in the store right quick but I'll call you back."
"And if you don't?"
