"Hey babygirl." I said giving Mia a hug
She wrapped her arms around me as I hugged her small body. She sat down in the booth before Morgan gave me a peck and did the same.
"Hey, how was your day?" Morgan asked
"It was good. Got my dress fitted but we're going to check on it and fit it on me every weekend up until the wedding. I know I'll gain weight.
She nodded "That's good."
"What about you? What did you do?"
"I pretty much did the same thing."
"Oh okay that's good."
"Yeah." Morgan replied as the waiter brought our drinks
"What about you Mia? How was your day princess?" I asked
"It was good! I made a new friend. His name is Taylor."
"That's nice baby."
"He's nice and he's cute." Mia said like it wasn't nothing
Morgan choked on her drink and looked down at Mia who was sitting beside her
"He's cute? He better keep his lil dirty hands away from you or his ass-
Before she could finish her sentence I kicked her leg underneath the table which made her hissed.
She bit her lip and and glared at me but I mouthed for her to stop. Morgan huffed like a big ass kid and sat back while I asked more about Taylor.
"Oh baby he's sounds nice. Im happy you found another friend at school."
She smiled showing her cute little smile
"Oh mommy, guess what-" she stopped mid sentence and frowned "Im sorry."
I looked at Morgan as her face held the same expression as mine... confusion.
"What are apologizing for babygirl?" Morgan asked
"Im sorry, I called you mommy." She started to cry
"Hey sweetie, don't cry." I got up from my side and went over to their side of the booth
"Mia, you don't have nothing to be sorry for. I promise you that it's okay for you to call me mommy. You're not making me upset at all."
"Do you want to call Jordyn mommy, Mia?"
She nodded
I gave her a small smile and wiped her tears "Aww pretty girl, I appreciate that. You're my daughter, Okay? You always will be from now until forever." Jordyn chuckled tickling her a little bit
Mia giggled
Jordyn kissed her cheek while Morgan stared at us but nothing but love and happiness was shown on her face.
