"Oh, and Terminator? Please remind her to create a sheath for that thing," Tony called after them. The two men called back a "sure thing" and a "will do" before they disappeared around a corner.

Loki decided against teleporting to Reyna's room. It would only spook her further, and that was something he was not about to do. He hurried as fast as he dared with Reyna still in his arms. Finally. He let his magic open the door before entering, closing and locking it behind him. Reyna shook in his grip. As soon as Fury had left and Loki tried to reassure her that things were okay, she hadn't been able to keep it together. The mutant hadn't expected to be hit, not by emotions, nor by Fury. She couldn't think. Suddenly, a flashback hit her like a brick. Reyna went rigid in Loki's arms. He looked down to see what was wrong and saw her eyes flickering like a dying candle flame. Had it not been for the current situation, Loki would have stopped to admire the phenomenon. No, he had to focus on the task at hand. The god quickly set her down on her bed and kneeled to her height.
"Reyna, what is it? What's wrong?" Loki asked her, searching for answers in her flickering eyes. She could only look beyond him in an empty stare, her whole body convulsing. When Loki didn't get a response, he tried to look inside her head to figure out what was happening to her, only to be stopped by that damned glass dome. The god stepped back into reality. For now, he could do nothing but wait for the episode to pass. It seemed to take an age before her yellow eyes stopped flickering and refocused again, a haunted look taking its place. A look Loki recognized from both himself and Barnes. Reyna took a deep, ragged breath as her mind returned. She managed two more before she began hyperventilating and the tears started to roll again. Her gaze couldn't stay focused, and it was as if thousands of ants clawing their way through her skin. She rocked back and forth, clawing at her arms and legs in a futile attempt at getting the ants out. Loki took hold of her trembling hands, his grip firm but gentle. Her wide, terrified stare met his gentle and determined gaze as he slowly guided her hands to his back. Holding her attention, he let her dig her nails into the cloth covering the delicate skin, let her direct her panic, fear, disappointment, and anger onto him. The raven-haired god didn't wince or flinch when her hands involuntarily dug their claws into him. His distraction worked because ever so slowly, Reyna leaned in and rested her forehead against Loki's as her breathing slowly calmed to go in stride with the god's.
"It's alright, I've got you. Just breathe."
"I can't stay in my body," she whispered after a while.
"Do the memories take over?" Loki asked carefully.
"It's like everything happens over and over again, and I can't stop it," Reyna's voice shook with distress. She was having flashbacks of her past. The events of this morning must have triggered her more than he realized.
"I know, love, I know. It's alright, take it easy," Loki soothed her. Someone knocked on the door and Reyna could feel herself slipping again.
"One moment." Loki summoned a glass of water and held it out to her. Reyna took it and drank, never breaking contact.
"Focus on the glass. How it feels and how it looks. I'll see who's at the door. Just stay focused on the water and I'll be right back, I promise. Will you be alright?" Loki instructed Reyna slowly. Her eyes zoomed in on it.
"Alright," she mumbled as she focused harder on the glass, straining against another flashback. Loki stood and went to the door. He unlocked it and looked outside. There stood Bucky and Bruce. The sergeant held the package with Reyna's sword in it.
