"Her vitals are fine, we didn't see any abnormalities that could potentially lead to this however, this is also not an uncommon case because of the swelling on her brain from the impact of the accident. It may be temporary but it could also be permanent. We just have to keep it slow when making her recover her memories because it might cause another issue due to stress."

Byeol can hear them talking outside of the room. She didn't know why they have to talk about her without her presence but she could hear them clearly--- very clearly.

Her mind's still cluttered, confused and disoriented because why would she need to be hospitalized if she just fell asleep. Maybe her flu got worst? But she feels fine right now, like she's floating on top of a cloud.

'Why the f Han Hyojoo and Park Hyungsik claiming that they're my parents? I mean, I'm not really complaining--my 'mother' is gorgeous and my said 'father' looks like he was sculpted by the Greek Gods themselves. Since when did they get married and since when did they got a child?' she thought.

She's not exhibiting any emotions but her mind right now feels like it's going to burst with how much thoughts are running in alarming speed on her mind.

'Am I still dreaming?'

She's so deep in thought that she didn't realize the door finally opens and her parents walks in. They're obviously just done crying as Hyungsik is still sniffling while Hyojoo has red rimming her eyes.

"My shinning star, how are you feeling?" comes the soft voice of Hyojoo.

"Please talk to us. Do you want me to call On-jo and I-sak?" said Hyungsik,  "Or do you want Lee Cheong-san? I'm not too fond of him but I can call him for you. He's pretty worried too."

Byeol's forehead furrows and Hyojoo jabs her elbow on Hyungsik who immediately cough in surprise, "Ah yes, right. You might not remember them but you three are really close. They're your bestfriends and I'm not even sure what's Cheong-san for you."

'On-jo, I-sak, and Cheong-san, why is it so familiar? Where did I heard those names?' - she thought, 'If it's really a dream and they are my parents, who am I to complain? I mean, you were given a chance to feel the love and warmth of having parents and I'm raising my own since at the age of five, I kind of forget how it feels to be cared for. At least I could live the life that I always wanted even though it's just a dream.'

"I'm sorry if I don't remember any of you," Oh gosh, is my acting sucks?

"It's fine, I'm your mother. I'm Jung Bom," Han Hyojoo--- Bom pointed to herself before she look at the tall man beside her, "And this is your father, Han Hyun. We're your parents, sweetheart."

Byeol nodded, "May I know what really happened to me? W-why am I in the hospital?" she asks afterwards, her finger still connected to the heart monitor.

Bom closes the distance between them, the woman sitting on the edge of the hospital bed which causes Byeol's heart rate to suddenly increase, her cheeks tainted red when the heart monitor picks up the sudden acceleration of her heartbeat. Damn, just having Han Hyojoo beside her making her starstruck.

"Bom-ah, I think you're suffocating our daughter," Hyun tries to reach for his wife.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart." Bom apologizes, standing up but Byeol immediately grab her arm to stop her.

"It's fine, Mom." Byeol nearly shed tears when she utter the word 'mom', her voice wavering, "C-can you do the thing where you comb my hair using your hands. I-I miss it."
