Byeol wears her heart on her sleeves. She's never been good at hiding her emotion. If she's happy, she'll laugh and smile, if she's sad, she'll cry and sulk, if she's angry, she'll cry but won't never raise her voice, and they could always tell that she's in pain. She's very transparent of her emotions which Cheong-san was thankful for because he always know when to comfort her and when to leave her alone.

But as he stares at Byeol comforting On-jo while the latter cries on her shoulder, he could barely see the emotion on her face. Even her eyes is void of emotion yet he knew that she's hurting too. He always knew.

He knows that it is better when Byeol sobs and let the pain out of her system than her bottling it inside of her. He knew that she's suppressing her emotion and it wasn't always ends up well on her side.

He wanted to grab Byeol in an empty room and hug her like he always do when she's feeling too much. He wanted to comfort her like he always do when she's feeling down. He just want to hold her like he always do before. But he knew that this Byeol had changed.

Cheong-san sighs, turning around as he looks at the others who's doing their best to keep the zombies from entering. Nam-ra, Joon-yeong, Dae-su, Wujin, and Gyeong-su, they're all struggling.

"Let's go," Cheong-san blurted out, "We're not going to last here longer."

"Where would we go?" Wujin asks.

"The hose from earlier," He then turn to his best friend, "Gyeong-su yah."

The said guy perked up at his name, "Uh? Why? What is it?"

Cheong-san didn't answer but he walks towards the door instead, "Open the door just a few inches. Enough for the hose to fit."

"Isn't it better to wait for the rescuers to come save us?" Gyeong-su reasoned out, not really feeling like he's ready for another death.

"We might all die by the time they arrive." Cheong-san retorted with a serious voice.

"This will kill us faster. It's just gonna be---"

Before he could continue, Cheong-san immediately cut him out, "Is waiting for someone to save us the best thing we can do?"

"Whatever," Gyeong-su sighs, "If I turn into a zombie... You're so mad."

Contrary to his statement, Gyeong-su went to slide the door open, leaving only a small space enough for a one arm go fit. As Cheong-san have trouble reaching for the hose, no one notices Byeol reaching out for her phone, quickly sending a text to both of her parents when her past messages and calls were left unread and unanswered.

Them not answering her calls or her messages made her stomach lurch. She can't bear feeling the same pain of losing her parents for the second time. Once is too much and now that she was given a second chance to experience having a parent again, she doesn't want to end it like that.

When Cheong-san finally got the hose inside, he immediately asks for the others to help him make loop. Byeol's mind brings her to what happened earlier. In the cafeteria, Coach Kang, and then I-sak, all of them having her in their grasp but didn't attack her. 'How is that possible? Does it also exists on the series? Maybe I'm immune or maybe I'm the cure? But I haven't got bitten yet, did I?' - she thought,  'If I know I would be living in the last tv series I've watched, I would have finished it before falling asleep. This is making me crazy.'

When the hose is done, the students prepare to descend, with Gyeong-su going down first as the others followed. When it comes down to the three childhood bestfriends, Cheong-san approaches them, "You two have to come down fast."
