Life is hard and unpredictable...

There's no instrument that could predict what will happen to you. You don't know what you're looking forward to. One moment, you're on the top and the next, you'll find yourself at the very bottom.

Han Byeol's life is the great example for that. She's a girl that was born with silver spoon on her mouth. All of her needs and wants were given to her with a bat of her eyelashes. She was spoiled by her father, trained by her mother to be the perfect princess she was told to be. She's not exactly that studious nor smart but her parents still loves her for what she is. She has everything in this world that she could ask for.

But her life change when the wheel of fate spins and she found herself at the bottom. The once bright princess living in a massive castle turned grim when her parents died---or murdered. It's not like the authority believes that they were murdered, they dismissed the case as accident but Byeol's not stupid. She knows a murder when she sees one. She was young but she's not ignorant.

Since she was orphaned at the young age, she couldn't inherit any of her parent's wealth until she turn the legal age. That leads her to be under her parents' only relative---her uncle on her father side's care. She was instructed to live with them until she turn the legal age and she can't wait for that to happen.

Her Uncle---he's a plastic and a leech. She could see behind the mask his family trying to put on whenever people are around them. Those tears on the burial, those definitely were fake. Those sympathy and words they gave her, those totally were all acts. It was funny for her because her Uncle graduated as a theatre major but that old man can't even convince a fly.

Another sneeze escapes on Byeol's nose, sniffling as she wipe her nose with a tissue, discarding it and adding it to the pile of used tissue on the little trashbin besides her study table. She's typing profusely as the sound of the keyboard click-clacking echoes on her relatively dark room.

"You're awfully sneezing a lot. You should rest," the voice of one of her partner/only friend echoes from the speaker of her laptop.

"I will after I finish revising our paper," comes her reply, a little muffled because of her clogged nose.

"Girl, have you heard about the new netflix series? The one with zombies and really hot characters?"

"Every character in a movie is hot for you," she retorted, still busy on revising their report.

"No, Byeol-ah, I'm serious. It's not all about the characters but the plot and the zombies. I literally cried in each episode." her friend said to her, "You have to watch it and relax. You look like you have a cold or something. You look so pale. I'll finish the revision but you have to rest."

Byeol furrowed her brows, looking directly to the camera of her laptop, "The last time you told me to relax, you suggested me to watch the Penthouse." she deadpan and the girl from the screen had the audacity to laugh.

"Okay, that was real. I just want to share my frustration to you but now your health is deteriorating. You have training tomorrow and you can't skip, right? Let me handle the rest. You've done enough." Moon Yebin is very considerate although they started at the wrong foot. She used to make fun of Byeol for her tendency to act childish at some circumstances but it took her a high kick on her nose for them to talk it out. She hadn't expected for them to end up really close. Not best friend close but they're on their way to that.

"Are you really going to do that, Yebin-ah?" A smile peeks from Byeol's lips.

"Hmm," Yebin hummed, "Only the last part needs revision anyway. I'll proceed to make the ppt next."
