A tear fell down on Byeol's cheeks as everything hit her like a brick and out of all of the realization that dawned on her these past three days, this is the most painful and very hard to swallow reality. The single tear turned into two until it became a waterfall. The single tear becomes a complete sobbing as she gripped her duvet tightly.
"N-no, it can't be," she sobs, "It can't be a dream."
She throw the duvet away from her body, jumping off the bed as she made her way to the door, twisting the knob and pulling it open. She steps out of the room but find herself back in front of her bed. Her eyes drifted to the door---it was closed.
She whips her head to back, there's no door.
"What the fuck?" she's certain that she had opened a door.
Through confusion, her eyes drifted to the floor-to-ceiling windows, the confusion on her mind deepens as she was welcomed with thick and verdant greenery instead of the busy city. The clearing stretches until the end of her vision, "Where the fuck am I?"
"You're in nowhere,"
Byeol's eyes widen and in instinct, she reaches for her switch knife but found her pockets empty. Speaking of pockets, this is when she just only realized that she was still wearing the gym uniform of Hyosan and was still covered with blood.
Her breath picks up as her heart beats eratically, her hand lifting up to touch her stomach where the metal bar impaled her. There's a hole but there's no stab wound. And she can't feel the pain.
'Am I dead?!'
"Of course you can't feel the pain. Here in nowhere, you can't feel any physical pain. And you're not dead, Byeol."
That's when she remembers that she wasn't alone. She looks around her room---or was it her room? trying to find the source of the voice but she found none.
"Who are you? Show yourself!" Byeol felt stupid for speaking to the air but paid no mind because what the fuck is happening?
"We don't have a name but all of the people we had met have called us Fate and Destiny." as the voice said that, two balls of light materializes out of nowhere before it shapeshifts into two figures. There's no telling of the gender, they're just silhouettes but instead of shadow, they're of misty lights.
The voices tells no signs of gender too. They're too mystical and gender-neutral.
Byeol scoffed, "Yeah, and I'm Goddess Hera."
"You're wondering what's happening right?" the one on the left asks her.
This took her attention, "You know what's happening to me?"
"Of course," the right one said, its voice is so airy and lace with softness contrary to the left one, "We're the one who brought you there."
Byeol was dumbfounded as she blinked, "What? Just tell me directly! I'm not in the mood of cryptic messages."
Destiny, the one on the left said, "So impatient, just like her mother."
Fate elbowed their partner before gliding towards Byeol who by instinct, steps backward, "Say, Byeol. What do you know about multiverses?"
Byeol's forehead furrows, "The one in MCU?"
"Multiverse is really a tricky subject to tackle. No one knows the full capabilities of the multiverse and even us, who guards the Sacred Reality has trouble seeing the limit of it," Destiny started, gliding towards the bed as they continue, "That's explains why we were very baffled when your soul had managed to travel through the mist of Sacred Reality. To be completely honest, I didn't believe that your soul would survive the protection barrier but Fate believes that you would."
