The city of Yangdong looks straight out of a horror movie. Although it was relatively clean with blood and internal organs like the ones on Hyosan, it still look very alarming.

The fog hadn't clear up yet, the streets are empty, vehicles abandoned as well as the houses. Yangdong doesn't have that much population but it is still impossible for the streets to be void of rushing vehicles.

Byeol was forced to halt when Cheong-san suddenly stops walking, breaking away from their intertwined hands to clutch his chest. From behind Cheong-san, Byeol could see and could hear Nam-ra suffering the same state as him.

Cheong-san's breathing speeds up as he swallows down the burning feeling building up on his throat, "No." he whispers as a tear fell down his cheeks. He begins beating his self, slamming his palm on his head as he repeatedly whispers no.

Byeol heave a sign, reaching for Cheong-san's hand to stop him from hurting himself, "Let's go."

Her boyfriend shakes his head in rush manner, tears brimming his eyes as he sobs, "I want to eat them all. I want to kill them," he confessed.

Byeol nodded her head, knowing all too well the struggle they find themselves into, "Let's go." she intertwine their fingers again, pulling him back to where Nam-ra collapses.

She offers her hand and the class president raises her head in confusion, "Come on."

Nam-ra looks up to her, tears and the fog hindering her eye sight but she could make the outline of the girl standing in front of her with her hand outstretched.

Nam-ra places her hand on top of Byeol's to which the latter grabs to pull her up. Although confused, wherever they are going or whatever they are about to do is the least thing they could think of because of the insatiable hunger they are feeling.

It's painful. It feels like their hearts are being squished machines, sticking thousands of sharp needles before squeezing lemons on the fresh wound. It was torturous and the more they subdue themselves from giving up to the instinct, the more it becomes unbearable. It wasn't the physical pain that made it harder, it was the mental attack the virus has been subjecting them.

Through the pain and struggle, they didn't even notice that they went back to the street where they fought, stopping right at the middle of the cadavers.

Byeol grabs the key from her pocket, unlocking the handcuff connecting the couples. Cheong-san, although in a painful torture grab her hand in instinct, looking at her in confusion, "Wha... what are you doing?"

Byeol heave another sigh, pulling Nam-ra beside Cheong-san so she could look at them as she explains, "I know this is horrible and disgusting but the more you repress your instincts, the more that it will going to be painful for the both of you."

The implication is there and doesn't need to be explained further. And it wasn't like Byeol could really explain it too, she just couldn't find the right word because even for her, it was past their morality, "It's this or you two will starve and possibly fall into insanity. I don't want either of the two to happen between the two of you."

Nam-ra shakes her head, sobs intensifying, "No,"

Byeol grab her on the hand, drawing circles on the back of her palm as she said, "You can't just keep biting yourself, Nam-ra. It seems absurd and horrible but we need to survive too."

Silence reign for seconds until Cheong-san broke first, pulling away from Byeol's grasp as his knees fell in front of a zombie laying dead on the floor. Nam-ra followed soon after, choosing to grab one and pin its body on a post.

Byeol averted her eyes, looking up to the sky as the tears that she had been holding for so long finally fell down on her cheeks, wetting the dried blood causing for the teardrops to stain red as she listen to the squelching sound of them feeding.
