Link: Jo. Can we talk?

Jo: yeah. What's up.

Link: Not now. Tonight.

Jo: um. Okay? What's wrong?

Link: nothing. Just want to talk tonight.

Jo: okay. Do you want to go out or stay in with the kids?

Link: stay in. I'll make pasta.

Jo: sounds good.

(She kisses him on the cheek)

Jo: I gotta go. See you tonight.

Link: See ya.

(She walks away)

(6 hours later)

(7pm)

(Jo walks into the kitchen where link is cooking)

Jo: smells good...

(She smiles)

Link: yeah?

(Jo smiles and jumps up on the counter)

(She chuckles and stares at him)

Jo: so. What are we talking about?

Link: So. I was talking to Meredith this morning.

Jo: yeah?

Link: And she was talking to Alex.

Jo: what?

Link: they're moving back here.

(Jo processes that for a minute)

Jo: oh.

(She jumps off the counter)

(She doesn't say anything)

Link: So...

(Jo turns around and smiles)

Jo: So... when's that food gonna be ready? I'm starving.

Link: that's it? You don't wanna... talk?

Jo: what's there to talk about?

Link: I mean... a lot.

Jo: There really isn't Link. I'm with you. I'm happy. He's with her. I've moved on.

Link: you know, it would be okay if you wanted to think...

Jo: there isn't anything to think about. Link.

(She smiles and walks up to him)

(She kisses him romantically)

Jo: I love your and I am over him. Okay?

(He smiles)

Link: okay.

Jo: Now. If you open a bottle of rosé, and get the kids in bed early... Maybe we can...

(She smirks, turns and walks away)

Link: Jesus...

Meredith: Hey link.

(Link looks over)

Link: Hey.

Meredith: how did she take it? I haven't talked to her yet.

Link: um. Surprisingly well.
