A/N!!! ~ TW // Violence, mentions of SA, abuse.

I knew I wasn't getting to stay home anymore, and after explaining everything to Michael, he was letting his nerves get the best of him. It was understandable, but I had to return the favor to Sakura. William pulled into the driveway, and I noticed Miya was already in the car. Better to rekindle now than later, right?

Her hair was a navy blue color, and she had on a grey, casual yet comfortable looking dress. She clearly hadn't lost her style. The de-aging clearly did her more justice than she already had going for her when I knew her. She was absolutely stunning. Her voice was as smooth as honey as I remember it too. I was so happy to see her again.

"Y/N, it's been a few years hasn't it?" She reached her hand out to grab mine and smiled. "Just a few. To be blunt, you said you died, so this is a pleasant surprise." I smiled in return. "I knew I'd come back some day, I just didn't know when the right time would be. It looks like the timing turned out well though, I got my youthful vigor back, and I've already proved that I've still got it!" She snickered.

I recalled the stories she'd tell me with Henry. The times she'd sneak around, keeping an eye out for any men trying to harass women. She'd always play bad cop for Henry, who struggled with doing that. They were both reliant on each other to make up for where the other person lacked. Honestly, she's really a secret weapon for us. My mother, not Vanessa really  know about her all that well. She's definitely someone I feel more confident about my safety since she's around. I have so much respect for her.

I had to set aside the bit of anger I felt at the moment for her faking her death though. That hurt a lot, but right now we're focusing on Sakura. She's our priority. I just couldn't believe Jason was back. Miya's timing really couldn't have been more perfect.

She directed William towards the house, pointing as she told him where to turn. I couldn't help but think of how Henry would react to all of this. He was extremely beside himself when she was "gone" so I couldn't really think how his reaction might be. My thoughts were interrupted by Michael tightening his grip on my hand. I knew
last night was really getting to his head. It was getting to me too, but I had to help Sakura the way she helped me.

We'd finally arrived to the house. It looked fairly small with chipped white paint. As we got out of the car, Miya left her sunglasses on and slipped what looked to be a switchblade into her bra. She led us to the front door to which she picked the lock. Slowly opening the creaky door as quietly as possible. We snuck our way inside, and the silence was deafening. The calm before the storm if you will.

We walked around the house, trying to find signs of Sakura's shitty ex Jason. That's when we spotted a basement door. It was slightly cracked open, a dim light flickered down the steps. I noticed the figure standing down there in front of a chair. Miya led us down quietly, switchblade in hand. He clearly hadn't noticed us yet, while we could make out the entire room now.

Sakura had been tied to a chair. Her eyes we red and puffy, and her hair was a mess. Her clothes looked torn and mangled with. This sight caused William's eyes to go cold. Before anyone could react, William tackled Jason to the ground. As he was about to punch him, Jason thwacked the side of William's head with some blunt object and knocked him out.

He now stared dead at me, completely ignoring Miya and Michael standing next to me. He came running at me. "Y/N, long time no see baby gi-" He winced in pain, as I looked to see Miya had plunged her switchblade into his shoulder. "What did you do to Sakura? I suggest you answer or I'll slit your throat." She threatened. "I just continued what we used to do for all times sake." He said it like he was proud. I felt sick to my stomach.

Miya kicked him to the ground, and stomped on his crotch. She ran over to untie Sakura, and what seemed to be right on queue, William had woken up from his little nap. Michael went over to help William get up the stairs while Miya helped Sakura, who's eyes were currently flooding with tears. I'd never seen her cry before, I only heard it that one time over the phone last night.

As we got in the car, Miya took the wheel while I moved to the front. Sakura was extremely insistent on being next to William, who I think had the same idea but just wasn't showing how much he wanted her next to him right now. He'd given her his sweatshirt to coverup since her clothes were all torn. The still weeping girl leaned into his embrace while he strung his fingers through her hair. Those cold eyes of his looked as if they had set themselves ablaze at the pain Sakura was in.

Once we arrived to William's house, I decided to move into the back again with Michael. As soon as I got in and shut the door, and arm snaked it's way around me as he rested his head on my shoulder. Quickly falling asleep. I took this as a chance to discuss everything with Miya.

"So, you fake your death and come back all of the sudden. Care to explain yourself?" I said with clear irritation in my voice. "I know, I'm sorry. Desperate timed called for desperate measures. Had I not done it, I might actually be dead." She sighed. "Why's that?" Curiosity overtook my irritation. "I knew too much. Your mother didn't know much about me, I kept many secrets from her including my name. Unfortunately for me, she started to catch onto me. I'd known she was planning on ripping-off Henry and William's creations in the hopes to create some "Sister Location" or so I overheard her call it."

The more I found out about my mother, the worse she got, but the less surprised I felt upon another discovery of how bad of a human she was. "Do you mind ringing Henry for me?" When she wasn't being the intimidating bad cop, she was really polite like Henry. I dialed his number for her and handed over my phone.

"Hello kiddo!" Henry's jolly voice exclaimed over the phone. I couldn't help but giggle a bit at the fact that wasn't me he was speaking to. "Uhhh...wrong person. It's nice to hear from you again Henry" The uncomfortable silence set in. It took a moment before Henry finally responded. "It's nice to hear from you again too Miya, but I thought you were-" She stopped him there. "I know, I know. I'll explain everything once I see you again in person. I promise I had a good reason, I'm sorry." They both let out of heavy sigh at about the same time.

As we arrived back at my place, she hung the phone up, but added Henry's number to her phone from my contact for him. I started shaking Michael awake. "We're home sleepy head." I said in a soft-tone. His eyes opened, and he smiled before getting up and out of the car. We waved goodbye to Miya as she drove off.

Michael wasted no time getting back in bed. I decided to join him. After the night and day we had, I think a midday nap was perfectly justifiable. He rested his head on me again and put an arm around me as I played with his hair.

I could still tell he was uneasy, but something about Miya being back made me feel calm. I knew that as long as she was around, we'd all be safe. She was stone cold, and knew what she was doing. My mother should be afraid of her.

"We'll be okay Michael. Don't worry too much." We gave each other a kiss before he finally dozed off, but I was still a bit in thought. It didn't last long though, as Michael's warmth eventually made me drowsy, before eventually falling asleep.
