14. The Music Therapist (Final)

The next morning rolled in. Abhimanyu woke up as the first rays peeped through his windows. He stretched and turned to see his wife sleeping carefree, tucked to his side. It had been more than a few days since they were wed but mornings were still his favourite part. He woke up feeling like everything was a fantastic dream and Akshara being next to him would jolt him back to his reality- all his dreams were true!

He sent a quick prayer to the gods above and carefully removed his arm from under her. A while later, Akshara woke up as Abhimanyu re-entered the room with two glasses full of 'Methidane ka paani'.

Abhimanyu: Good morning meri methidana!

Akshara: (mutters lowly) ye kya gharelu nuska sikha diya maine docman ko, ab roz ye kadwa paani lekr aa jata hai..

Abhimanyu: Kya?

Akshara: (smiles broadly and overly sweet) Kuch nahi...morning patidev ji..

Akshara took the glass and gulped it down making a face. She kept the glass to see her husband actually enjoying it.

Akshara: Waise koi zarurat hai nahi iss paani ki, atleast mujhe to nahi hai...

Abhimanyu: Accha!? Really!? Tum itni sweet ho, control me toh rakhna padega na blood sugar..

Akshara: Uff! Subah subah cheesy ho rahe ho doctor sahab...

Abhimanyu: Abhi kahan?

Saying this, he kept his glass away and started to climb on top of Akshara who was sitting on the bed. Her eyes widened and she pushed him away before running into the bathroom.

Abhira got ready early that day and spent the morning studying Akshara's contract in detail. Abhimanyu read each and every detail twice making sure his wife would have the best work place. He guided her to sign as he found all conditions reasonable. He did have issue with one but once Akshara explained their logic behind it, he made peace with it. They had breakfast in their room while discussing future plans saving time.

Abhimanyu: Accha Akshu, mai bhi aaj hospital jaldi jaa raha hoon, chalo raste me tumhe Academy chod dunga...

Abhira left. A while later, all Birlas sat at the table.

Harshvardhan: Abhimanyu kahan hai? Kabhi late nahi hota...us ladki ne ab kya routine bhi bigar diya hai uska?

Manjiri: Ji vo Abhi hospital gaya hai......bol raha tha aaj koi patient ke reports ane hai jo usse urgently dekhne hai..

Mahima: Dekha Harsh? Faltu me peeche pade rehte ho uske..

Harshvardhan: Lekin aap bhi dekhiye, uss ladki ke hospital se jaate hi Abhimanyu kitna serious ho gaya wapis..

Mahima: (to Anand iska kuch nahi ho skta..

She rolled her eyes and continued with her healthy toast.

Harshvardhan: Waise bahu kahan hai tumhari...humare saath breakfast karegi ya humare jaane ke baad tum haath se khilati ho apni Akshu ko..

Neil: (whispers to Parth) Uncle ko bhabhi se problem hai ya nahi samajh hi nahi ata...hai to kyu hai, nahi hai toh kyu nahi..

Manjiri: Ji vo bhi kaam pr gayi hai..

Mahima: Konsa kaam? Hume toh nahi bataya....

Harshvardhan: Kahan batate hai kuch ye #Abhira, surprise dete hai seedha..

Manjiri: Nahi vo usne socha ek baar sb set ho jaye toh bata degi...abhi to uski maa ki academy gayi hai, NGO me bhi jaati hai aur Monday se-
