H.E.E.S.E.U.N.G

I don't regret what I did because I what I did was right. You see, I'm always right. And it's frustrating when people don't take my warnings seriously. Are they suspecting me to be a lying politician or something? If not I don't understand what they want from me: a lie detector test?

Why do they ignore me? Why does Sunoo resist me. All I want is to live peacefully as a happy family for long as humanly possible.

But no.

"My dad!" Sunghoon panicked, begining to take off his blazer. He was preparing to run more freely.

"I'll go get him," Sunoo pats the celebrity's back as away of telling him to stay put. That's he'll go instead.

No. Fear stirs inside of me.
This is not the time!

"I won't let you," Sunoo that idea is awful. I rejected it; I won't allow it to happen. I grabbed his wrist.

This is called dangerous decision making. Stormy weather seemed to be approaching.
Sunoo running into a street filled with flying cars going 100 miles per hour just to collapse at the sound of thunder would ruin everything I worked so hard to protect.

I warned Sunoo constantly. Quit your job and come home. You're still sick. You could get hurt. And still, this time, he made me watch as his body fell to the rain stain pavement.

Right before it happened...

***

"I-I hate you!" Sunoo pulls away from me. I no have idea what he's thinking, but my grip on him ceases. The rain trickling down made my fingers slippery. My advantage was taken away, yet...

Sunoo didn't move from his position. He stayed, his knees sinking more in to the concrete, and his fist clenching into a ball. He doesn't lift his face from the ground. I'm just staring at him.

"We need to go," I state sternly.

His head moves sharply to look up at me. His eyes are as if they're saying, "the audacity".

But what he doesn't realize is that I've been backing off for too long. I let him do what he want, but now I'm at a point where regarding this specific situation, I have all the possible audacity any one could ever have inside them. All the running, chasing, and playing super hero to save lives needs to end now.

His brown eyes that once glimmered golden shifted into a darker shade that match his expression of grimace.

Pit pat pit pat.

That's the sound of rain driplets soaking his hair. A few seconds of silence go by and his bangs turn into like a sticker to his forehead.

I step forward, shielding Sunoo with my hands. He slaps them away.

Taking in a deep breath, I try to calm myself down. This is already a big scene... He's drawing it out.

"Sunoo--." I call out his name as irritation begins to to build up, but I'm interrupted by a loud thundering. Purple lightening flashes in the sky causing everyone to jump a little. The color and roaring catches everyone off guard.

I hear Sunoo hiss in pain. When I look back down at him, body is still and unconscious on the pavement.

He fainted.

And here I am.

Not Sunghoon. Not Jungwon. Not any of his friends or past clients.

Because there's no else but me.
