conversesareawesome, I'll admit I struggled with making Celeste as close to the character as with other characters. That's not a complaint on the request, it's simply a pre-apology in case she's not as in character as you may think she should be. Regardless, I hope you'll enjoy.

"(Name), would you be interested in accompanying me to an event this evening?"

As this was out of the blue, you were a bit confused. An event... does she mean a gambling event?

"Relax, I won't be expecting you to actually gamble; I simply thought it would be nice for you to see how I crush others in their pathetic attempts to cheat the systems."

You knew Celeste had a bit of a sadistic streak when it came to tearing others down in gambling, but you haven't actually seen her in a serious gamble. Sure, you had seen her make playful bets with some of the other students, but most of them were for basic rewards like the last bag of chips or other simple rewards. Sometimes Celeste participated to give you the reward afterwards, so part of you wondered if this was going to be the same kind of situation.

"Sure, I don't see the harm in going with you. Do I need to wear anything special or...?"

Celeste chuckled softly, shaking her head, "You needn't worry about appearances darling; anyone who dares to insult you will be taken down just like all my other opponents."

You're really glad she's on your side and not your opponent... You love your girlfriend, but you admit you'd be terrified to be on her bad side...

"Alright... I look forward to it."

Even though Celeste assured you that you didn't need to dress up fancily, you felt like you should dress at least semi-formal; you didn't want to feel out of place in the crowd; especially when you're accompanying the ultimate gambler in a gambling event.

When looking around, you found yourself unsure about the rules for most of the games. You hadn't delved much into gambling before meeting Celeste, and even then she wouldn't play extremely complicated games with you; doesn't mean she went easy on you though.

"There are various prizes from cars to money to designer brands; please inform me if any of them catch your fancy."

With the variety of gambles out there, it made sense the types of prizes you could earn would vary. While money is always nice, you had to admit there was a (jewel) necklace that caught your fancy.

"I'd like to join in the game for the necklace. What would the entrance fee be?"

You had been lost in your thoughts so it took you a moment to recognize that Celeste had signed up for that game. She really was out here to win you gifts, wasn't she?

"If you'd like I could inform you of the rules so you can follow along."

Nodding softly, you take a seat next to Celeste. You'd find yourself doing this a lot during the evening, following Celeste around as she won every gamble she participated in. Some of the winnings were clearly for you, while she also participated in games strictly to help finance her future goal of living in the European castle while being served by handsome men who would be dressed as vampires. You still wonder if you were to be included in her dream...

"Ah, what do we have here? A sad little puppy such as you doesn't deserve to be around the Queen of Liars; perhaps you need a good trainer to teach you a lesson-"

The man clearly wanting to assault you couldn't even put his hands on you before Celeste swiftly slapped his hand away. She made sure to put distance between you and him, but her expression stayed as calm as ever.

"If you want to earn the right to touch my darling I'm afraid you'll have to win it in a gamble. That said, if you lose then you'll be the one dressed as a dog here; do you understand?"

The guy clearly thought he had what it took to defeat Celeste and challenged her to a gamble. It wasn't a surprise that he lost; what was a surprise was when one of the dealers brought out a dog outfit for the guy to wear. He even had to get on all fours and bark instead of talking; there goes Celeste's sadistic streak again.

"Learn your place you filthy mutt." She stated, pushing her heel into the guy's face, chuckling at his torment.

You weren't the biggest fan of when she was like this, but you couldn't help but love it at the same time; at least it wasn't being directed at you.

"Shall we be going darling? I do believe we don't have any more gambles to participate in tonight."

Nodding softly, you follow Celeste out of the gambling event. You helped to carry some of the prizes Celeste had won, knowing Celeste wasn't big on physical labor; besides, you enjoyed helping your girlfriend when needed.

"You know Celeste, you didn't need to show love through physical gifts; don't get me wrong, I appreciate the gifts, but it's not needed to show love."

Celeste turns to you, giving you a confident smile before responding, "I understand that, but I want to put as many bets down to ensure you not only know I love you, but feel loved as well. Besides, the look on your face when you receive the gifts is truly precious."

Giving you a kiss on the forehead, Celeste continues heading back, leaving you momentarily to get over the flustered mess you had become. As someone who's known to take risks, it was obvious to you that Celeste wasn't taking any risks when it came to your relationship. Well, it's not like you're complaining...
