He was saying so because he as the one supposed to ask out (y/n) and bring her to a surprise date, but the opposite was happening at the moment. He was wearing a blindfold and (y/n), while holding his hand, was bringing him to their destination.

"You said something?" (y/n) said hearing her boyfriend's voice without perfectly understanding his words.

The lilac haired's eyes sparkled at the view as a little smile drew up on his face. He then looked around to understand where they were into details as he says "Are we in a love hotel-?"

"Takashi. Stop complaining and enjoy the moment. Unless you're feeling uncomfortable, I totally get it, we can-" the girl started but got cut off by the boy's finger getting placed on her lip.

"I love it, stop worrying. But just so you know, you're the best gift you could ever give me, so don't try to do anything more surprising, I'll have a heart attack"

Takashi was on top of the girl staring into her eyes. He would stare into them forever if he could. He then whispered under his breathe, "Can I continue?"
