A moment of pure unadulterated silence hung in the air.

"Hah?!" Tanaka couldn't help but exclaim, breaking the quietude.

Yamaguchi blinks, glancing between the two, "Akiri likes Kageyama?"

"M/N and Kageyama?" Suga whispered out, stunned and in disbelief, somehow feeling oddly uncomfortable over the new information.

Kageyama's face simultaneously became a tomato as he couldn't help but read deeper into M/N's words.

Everyone was shocked still as their minds begin to process what appeared to be an indirect confession from M/N to Kageyama. All except Hinata...

"You don't seem sure of yourself, M/N?" Hinata pointed out as if confused as to why everyone was panicking over a harmless statement/tease.

It was only after Hinata's keen observation then did the rest begin to ponder harder, cooling down from M/N's unexpected choice of words(Kageyama was still red in the face though). Turns out M/N just sucks at phrasing things... Or he just deliberately says it in a way that could be misunderstood :) either one.

M/N sighed once more as his teammates looked at him with such shine. He was disappointed that he still couldn't avoid the inquiries even with his shock therapy, "I give up. Ask me anything and I'll answer."

M/N unceremoniously dropped onto the ground, sitting by the sidewalk comfortably. The rest began to stand around M/N, a little taken aback by how casually their temporary libero just flopped onto the floor(they got over it quickly though. After all, it's M/N. Expect the unexpected).

"Did you have any other school that you could've gone to besides Karasuno?" Tanaka instantly got the ball rolling.

"Yes." Straight to the point.

"Then, which other school?" Suga questioned, looking rather interested to get to know more about M/N.

M/N calmly closed his eyes, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone. "Aoba Johsai."

"Eh?!" A few of them exclaimed.

"It makes sense though, M/N did seem rather close with quite a few people in Seijoh." Daichi nodded making rationale of M/N's answer.

"So only one other school wanted you? Any more? No? Hahah." Tsukishima grinned, his tone mocking.

An irk mark instantly popped on the top of M/N's head as he glared at the glasses boy with so much innate fury that it made Tsukishima shiver.
However, almost as if the previous heat was nothing but a dream, M/N's expression suddenly returned back to his usual blank look.

A smirk made its way up M/N's lips as he came into direct eye contact. But before M/N could decide what he should do to that damn salty french fry, a loud beep came from M/N's phone signalling him that he had a message.

Checking the message he received, it was as if all his previous plans were tossed out the window as M/N glared daggers straight at his phone screen. After a minute of complete silence with M/N just plainly glaring at his phone, M/N in a fit of rage throws his phone at Tsukishima's face.
Catching the middle blocker completely off guard, the phone came smashing right into his face with a resounding thud before flying off and falling directly into Tanaka's palms.

"Ow! What the heck?!" Tsukishima exclaimed in pain.

"Wow, calm down M/N. What's gotten you so irritated?" Suga went over to M/N patting him on the head to calm him.

M/N crossed his arms like a child, "I'm not annoyed."

Hinata shook his head, "You're definitely annoyed, why are you saying you're not?" Hinata didn't understand.
