My Dear Niece, Hawaii,
I know you have heard rumors of a Civil War. All of them are true. But don't worry for me, I am fine, though you might need some advice.
I write this to warn you, to make sure you know what must be done.
Whatever you do, don't listen to her. Don't trust a single one of the Empires. They will betray you one way or another, and bring you to your knees.
Don't believe a word the missionaries say about your people. They could never understand what we go through every day to make ourselves at our most appealing for them.
Hold on to your gods and goddesses, and don't let their names slip away. It is up to you to keep their names on the lips of the people.
And most of all, keep fighting back. Don't ever let anyone take away what is yours by birth, given by the gods. You fight to the death if you must.
My time may be over after this battle. But it will be worth it to die as long as my people have a chance to survive.
