𝟓𝟕 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬; 𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐱

𝟲- 𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

hyunjin was currently seated in his math class while he stared out the window mindlessly, he should be paying attention to his teacher but all his mind was occupied with was the encounter with felix last night, he was really confused by the waves going through his body each time he thought about the twinkling eyes of the brunette 

'i've never met someone who I actually found decent, wow this is a first' he did indeed think felix was "decent" 'he's actually annoying though' hyunjin kept on reminiscing about the first time he met felix, that was the time he genuinely despised him. the second time he met him was quite in a haze there wasn't much to think about but he did remember not liking the brunette 

but the third time he met felix, the last time, he actually remembers all the details very vividly. his brain remembers all the things felix said and what his face looked like when he spoke about them, he remembers how the brunette boy looked surrounded by the fireflies perhaps because it was just last night, perhaps because he held the moment dear to his heart 

he still has that picture on his phone which he gazes at occasionally "hyunjin?" a feminine voice was heard but hyunjin was long gone in his thoughts that he didn't even notice the pretty girl sitting beside him "hyunjin?" she spoke again this time moving closer to the boy, knowing she wasn't going to get the taller's attention that easily 

so she put her hand on his thigh which made him quickly turn around and glare at her, he shook away his leg from her and spoke "What do you want?" "oh nothing, I just wanted to tell you that your hair looks good today" she smiled making him glare even harder at her, and without saying another word he turned around and watched his notebook in silence which was sitting right in front of his eyes 

suddenly he took the pencil in his hand and began to doodle on the empty page, he wasn't aware of what he was drawing he just wanted to sketch something so he began to jog his ash pencil against the rough paper, despite feeling hurt by hyunjin Riya decided to watch what he was doodling

her heart fluttered each time hyunjin's long black hair would fall on his eyes and he would push them back in the most gallantly way possible, Riya looked down at his notebook the handsome boy was drawing another boy...a boy who seemed to be surrounded by small dots 

hyunjin paused and stared at his piece, he too was stunned how he was able to sketch something without knowing what he was doodling he hadn't realized he was sketching felix all along, he looked down at his sketch and realized something was off 'his freckles...his charming point' he wondered to himself and quickly began to draw the said boy's freckles which he seems to admire quite a lot 

soon enough he was done, he brought his phone out of his pocket and opened the picture as he stared at it with eyes hard to determine what they meant, Riya glanced at him then down at his phone putting two and two together "is that your friend?" she questioned as he remained quiet but later shook his head "then...boyfriend?" she struggled to get those words out her mouth feeling them leave a bitter taste behind

much to her dismay, the bell rang and hyunjin quickly got up shoving his notebook in his backpack as he left leaving her sitting there staring at her lap

 clicking sounds rang through Felix's ears while his co-worker pressed random keys on the cash machine, the coffee machine going off in a distance and the ringing bell of constant customers coming and leaving was sure to leave a headache behind 

but felix was relieved when he glanced at the clock and saw that only 5 minutes were left until his shift is over, felix looked around bored sighing as he shifted in his position near the corner, if it weren't for his time-strict and stubborn boss he would've left by now
