the following day was going by a little in a haze, hyunjin was lost in his thoughts and didn't know how to deal with them. part of him wanted to abide by Felix's words and actually try something but the other part of him kept chanting that felix was just another stupid boy who was trying to make his words sound important, well if that was the case. his tries didn't go in vain as he did make an impact

hyunjin sighed out loud staring at his notebook in front of his eyes "um...is everything okay?" Riya asked 'god not her again' hyunjin thought to himself choosing to ignore the girl sitting beside him "I don't mean to bother but...you never said anything about the project?" she spoke ringing a bell in hyunjin's head

that was it, that was his chance. if he wanted to try and be something like he'd wanted to be he could now, but if he wanted he could let this chance slide and watch his life go down the drain "leave me alone" is what hyunjin muttered as he pulled his hoodie lower making the other girl sigh a little

'Why is she so annoying, even her breathing is so annoying' hyunjin wondered in his head "well, I'll do just as you want but here's my number just in case you ever feel like- I'll shut up" she muttered as she licked her lips writing down her number on hyunjin's open notebook as the boy closed his eyes resting his head in his hands, his elbows set on the desk in front of them

felix sat down in front of chan gulping away the nervousness "don't worry it's no serious talk, I just needed to get some tests done so I know you're in decent condition and don't need...anything else" chan uttered smiling as he sat back in his seat, the smell of medicine was making his stomach turn but he was far too used to it now

"so, how's life been?" chan questioned as felix smiled softly, "life's been...surprisingly good" felix chuckled watching chan's expressions darken "I'm not lying this time, I swear!" hearing the brunette's sincerity a wide smile bloomed itself across chan's face "that's awesome!" the older couldn't put into words how happy he was to see his brother-like-patient being happy

"how about you? did you muster up the courage to...?" felix cocked a brow making chan roll his eyes and blow out a raspberry "oh pfft! change the topic" felix laughed "come on! tell me" chan sighed "you won't give up...and no" felix gasped "hyung! how long are you going to wait?" chan itched his forehead. their conversation was disturbed by a knock on the door

"yes?" spoke chan, the door opened revealing a handsome boy with specs and a white robe "Mr. Kang wants to have a word with you" chan pressed his lips in a thin line as he couldn't hide his ears that were turning red "Um su-sure seungmin, tell him I'll be in his office in a minute" chan muttered as seungmin nodded shutting the door once again

felix glanced at chan wiggling his brows trying to imply something "I have work so I will go. stop your devilish thoughts and take care" chan spoke walking towards Felix's as he pecked his head "the next time we meet, I want him to be your boyfriend" felix demanded as he got up from his seat putting on his jacket, chan mimicked the young boy before exiting the room

felix chuckled to himself, he really appreciated chan. as a friend and as an individual and he wanted to see the said male happy before he parted ways with him...forever

birds flew above the raven-head's head as he stared at them passing by his eyes flying in the bright blue sky. he was on the roof of some abandoned building which hadn't had a human step inside it for years, he was sitting down at the railing staring at the sky, the railing was big enough to have him sit on it comfortably without the fear of falling

not that he'd fear it, well if being honest he had a fear of heights but this building wasn't even high enough to break a single bone of yours if you fell from it. there was no ounce of fear jumping in hyunjin's heart, there was a silence that comforted his constantly running thoughts

his hair flew in the direction the wind rushed in, pushing it off of his forehead and letting them fly freely. he came to this place after he was finished skating he hadn't skated in a while and he missed that, so he decided to skate away from his problems and ride till his legs were numb

which they were, hence why he stopped. His thoughts were interrupted by the same guy he had been so much of lately so he sighed doing the only reasonable thing taking out his phone as he typed in a text to a certain someone. Hyunjin has given Felix's words a thought and he still was unsure of what he felt about them 'it wouldn't hurt to try?'

He had lost all hope in life and he was just existing not living, but lately ever since this specific brunette has appeared he had been feeling his heartbeat again as if he was reborn and alive now. But it was too soon to speak

knowing the future, it was way too soon

"The clothing's in aisle two ma'am" felix helped out a customer who seemed to have been lost. Suddenly his phone chimed as he took it out of his pocket a bright smile taking over his tired expressions when he saw who the cause was 'felix?' he read the text hyunjin had texted him 'yes?' he replied shutting his phone as he was about to put it away

But the sudden sound of him receiving another text rang again making him surprised but delighted nonetheless, he opened his phone screen again reading the text 'let's meet' felix bit his lower lip glancing at the clock 'great, I get off in five minutes' wondered to himself

'sure' he replied anticipating hyunjin's reply 'tell me where you are' and he did just that, after explaining to hyunjin his whereabouts he clicked back only to be met with another text but this time it wasn't hyunjin, it was chan

'felix, the results came in today. you need to drop by at the hospital' he sighed at Chan's texts, it didn't effect him anymore. Well at least that's what he liked to think 'I wil- before he could even finish typing

He felt a sharp pain his head and his vision blurred He gulped down as his feet seemed to lose balance and lose his weight as he grabbed onto the white marble counter behind him, the world around him spinning as he felt a nauseating feeling rise in his heart

This has been happening too much lately. He tried to keep himself steady but his arm fell to his side dropping his phone on the ground as he fell right beside it, and before he knew it darkness surrounded his vision as blood dripped down his nose onto the white marble floor and dirtied it. The last thing he remembers is people surrounding him as the ushered words that sounded like muffled yells to his ears
