𝟓𝟕 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬; 𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐱

𝟳; 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗺

 "Leave the boy alone" a voice spoke from behind felix as he turned around to look at who it was, and his eyes found no other than the boy his fate has been bringing to him constantly, without a break. felix stared at hyunjin quietly unaware why he was always the one to help him out "chill out, I just wanted a taste of this cutie" the boy joked causing hyunjin to glare harder

"how about I get you a taste of my fist" hyunjin questioned through gritted teeth crouching down to be the same height as the boy who laughed, there was no lie that the boy appeared intimidated by hyunjin "why are you so pressed? it's not my fault his jeans are so tight" and that angered hyunjin to the extent that he held up his hands grabbing the boy by his collar which sparked worry in felix 

the situation was getting awry and he did not like that "hyunjin drop it" felix muttered grabbing hyunjin's arm while the rest of the boys pulled the guy away from hyunjin's grip, felix did not want to cause a scene in his work but it seemed as if hyunjin was determined to do it, of course, the boy had no intention of harming felix in any way all he wanted to do was...protect him

clearly, having his collar grabbed wasn't a fun experience for the latter so he pushed hyunjin away landing a punch on his face which only made hyunjin hit him harder, and that's when felix realized this would not stop anytime soon so he grabbed hyunjin's arm pulling him away from the scene, he bowed down quickly apologizing for hyunjin's behavior 

he quickly dragged the boy with him before he could spit out any more curse words and snuck into the staff room shutting the door behind his back "why the fuck did you apologize to them? what are we hiding from?" hyunjin yelled which made felix take in a deep breath and cover his mouth "if you want me to get fired just say so" he replied looking deep into hyunjin's angry eyes 

the dimly lit bulb above them flickered, hyunjin sighed softly through his nostrils holding Felix's hand and pushing it away from his mouth "my boss would not be happy when she sees that you got into a fight and one of her workers was the cause of it" felix explained softly making hyunjin nod, he didn't let go of it as he stared down on the floor 

"But you can't just let people do shit to you" felix sighed "that's just how the world works, this is my job and it's not like it was the first time" felix chuckled humorlessly, there was nothing funny about the situation it passed hyunjin off knowing how much the boy has had to deal with, he had always taken his privileges for granted and only now he realized his life wasn't the worst of worst "I'm grateful that you helped me but I'm fine, and I don't need to be helped" felix replied smiling softly 

"I should probably leave, I still have an hour to go" felix spoke pulling his hand away from hyunjin in the softest manner, hyunjin stayed silent through it. not even gazing up at the boy as his eyes stayed fixated on the ground, felix turned and walked towards the door, but he was held back by hyunjin who had returned his grip over his wrist 

hyunjin licked his lips taking a step closer to felix as he took off his hat causing the latter's brunette locks to fall freely upon his eyes which hyunjin gently pushed back "what are you doing?" felix questioned but hyunjin stayed silent, he turned the shorter male around by his shoulders and untied his apron with a flick of his wrist making felix further confused "hyun-" before felix could complete his sentence he was once again turned around to face hyunjin
