soft and serene rain pattered against the glass window of Felix's bedroom, although it was closed shut the cold weather outside still seeped inside and Felix could smell the moist soil making him take in a deep breath and let out a sweet smile, it was small but genuine. he gazed out and watched how stunning the rain looked under the moonshine and streetlight

he had never truly been able to appreciate how breathtaking rains could be and so tonight he gazed at it with contentment in his heart rather than fear. the freckled boy had changed into much more comfortable clothes while he awaited the boy who had saved him to come inside this room and light up his world once again like he does every time

they left the hospital earlier this night and Hyunjin had brought him home, in a rather quite odd way-- and the still fresh memory makes the brunette's smile deeper

small droplets of rain fell on Felix's face when he held onto Hyunjin's arm who had helped him get out of the hospital, the taller of the two had persistently insisted that he carries Felix in his arms but the brunette boy rejected all of his advances, and replied with "Hyunjin-ah, I appreciate your concern but I'm okay don't bother yourself too much" with a bright smile on his face and all Hyunjin could do was give in

and it was in fact true that Felix didn't want Hyunjin to bother himself at all, he felt as though he had burdened the boy enough and did not need to add to the list though it wasn't like his organs weren't doing backflips at the care Hyunjin was displaying, the thought of Hyunjin carrying him in his arms made all the blood in his body rush to his face

his hands softly clenching onto the taller's bicep as he let go for a prompt moment to let Hyunjin get the bike out of the parking and sit on it but before time could even pass there was the touch he has   felt so much these past moments, Hyunjin's hand was back on his waist while he felt himself being pulled closer to a body he only wished to be nearer toward eyes settled on Hyunjin's gaze while the rain drizzled gently over them

Hyunjin comfortably seated on his motorbike with his arm around Felix who was still standing on the ground as he spoke the following words

"Get on carefully" Hyunjin's voice that resounded in his ears was foregone and all Felix could currently feel now was the safety the arm around his waist brought over him "lix?" And there it was, the nickname that never sounded any less pretty the more it was spoken "hmm" a soft hum was Felix's response letting Hyunjin know he heard him as he shuffled in Hyunjin's grip to get away so he could sit behind him

"Oh no, not there" Hyunjin spoke, voice calm and low while the sounds of the gentle rain overpowered his raspy voice "here" the brunette was pulled again by the waist and this time he was rather surprised when Hyunjin patted the front of the bike "how can I sit there? I-" he was cut off by Hyunjin's demanding tone "I'm not gonna let you sit behind me either, I can't risk you falling off"

To say the least, the shorter was baffled "fall off?" He couldn't comprehend Hyunjin's words, it was adoring that he was concerned for him but this was far too much of a childish thought "Hyunjin this isn't the first time I'm riding this thing, don't worry nothing will happen!" He protested with a gentle smile but the expression on Hyunjin's face contradicted Felix's making him sigh and huff

"Are you getting on or do I make you?"

The words were a threat to Felix's sanity, he could feel himself slip to the brink of going feral while he stared at Hyunjin's slanted eyes with his own doe ones not caring about the mere droplets of rain that knocked at his cornea and nearly brought tears to rise, an aching shade of crimson spread all over his cheeks and the top of his ears "I swear to god" the tall boy muttered under his breath before he tucked his arm under Felix's thighs which made him gasp and stumble back
