𝟓𝟕 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬; 𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐱

𝟰𝟬; 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲

the confession of Felix's romantic feelings toward Hyunjin was done in a subconscious manner without having paid much mind to it, to him it was nothing but a mere whisper of his internal fights and a reckoning mutter for Hyunjin, though the brunette was aware Hyunjin was sleeping his heart still urged him to say those words even if they wouldn't meet Hyunjin's ears even if he'll never know how much Felix really loves and cares for him it'd still be better to give those emotions life and let them wander freely in the air

he let out a deep sigh from his lips as he stared at Hyunjin's calm face, he smiled softly caressing the taller's cheek with his thumb so gently that wherever his touch grazed flowers grew, a symphony of love resonated in his ears as his smile deepened. the rain that once used to shake his fears and dance with them now stood peacefully beside him watching him fall in love with the boy he knew he couldn't have but he didn't care, there was nothing in this world that could ever make him as happy as this boy did and his heart had already taken the decision for him, he's fallen for him and there was no pulling up now

he's fallen so terribly deep even angels couldn't reach the chasm he was singing in, a song of love. he licked his lips and rested his back against the couch's backrest and kept his eyes fixated on the boy in his lap, he could do this for hours and hours. though every once in a while his thoughts did chant the miseries of Hyunjin he tried to keep them tamed 'I wish I could help him believe that he isn't a monster, that he's not what he thinks he is'

before his thoughts could decide a path of their own they were forced to face a halt when Hyunjin spoke up "I'm sorry, Felix" his voice groggy and raspy as Felix stared at him with knitted brows "you're awake, Hyun?" he quested unaware if he was talking in his sleep or has woken up from it "when did I sleep?" he quested, finally opening his eyes and turning his face in the slightest to stare at Felix

'when did I sleep- when did I sleep?! he didn't sleep? he was awake this entire time? he heard what I say? he-' Hyunjin's statement drained all the colors from the brunette's face and left him looking lifeless and pale as a ghost, his eyes almost widened as Hyunjin spoke those words. this was bad, really bad. Felix gulped terrified as he licked his lips trying to appear as normal as he could "you...you were awake? the entire time?" he questioned and Hyunjin sighed before closing his eyes and returning his face to hide in Felix's stomach again

"yes" he murmured making Felix's eyes go wide and his face heat up, he was hysterical upon the discovery, why did this happen? how could he have been so stupid to not realize Hyunjin was awake all along?  "tell me how I can make up for this" Hyunjin's voice brought Felix out of the terror land he has resided in "huh?" he questioned oblivious to what Hyunjin was referring to, "this mistake I've done, how can I make up for it?" Felix sighed deeply as Hyunjin held a grip over his wrist and brought his hands that were stopped to start working their magic again Felix smiled a mellow smile at the action and massaged through Hyunjin's hair

"Nothing, I don't want anything from you Hyunjin, I don't want you to do anything" his voice was calm and sincere but Hyunjin didn't want that as an answer, he wanted to repent and be remotely close to holy again but this lord of his won't allow that "please, Felix?" he insisted, opening his eyes once again he stared at the beautiful boy who looked down at him with his sultry gaze and turned upward lips "nothing" his answer stood the same as it did moments ago which only made Hyunjin sigh and hide his face again

and with that, the room was once again mantled with silence. for Hyunjin it was comforting and for Felix, it was taunting 'if he was awake then why didn't he say anything? why didn't he respond to my absurdity? he's surely disgusted by me now'  his unhinged thoughts made his head hurt as chaos and loudness invaded his senses, his heart was crippled with fear and apprehension was ruining the harmony of peace that has earlier embraced him
